My new VECP is turning into a "Smooth Operator".

(I just hope it doesn't become a "slick" operator...but I put a lanyard on to keep that to a minimum.)

Glad to hear it! You can always adjust that pivot to ya liking as well.
 
So on the Servo…
Is the stop pin on the blade, with travel cutouts in the scale? Or, is some other witchcraft going on?
 
I don’t have a picture from when I disassembled mine but if my memory is correct the stop pin is fixed and there is a closed ended arced cutout in the blade that provides clearance for the stop pin through the range of motion of the blade. I’m not very good at mechanical explanations anymore but hopefully that makes some sense.

Sounds like the setup on the Norseman I had.

Thanks. I couldn’t tell from any pics I could find. I was guessing it was something like that.
