The Moose is Loose!

No. I haven't met many from Maine. I spent a few months in Maryland in the Army. Different folks up there. Nice. But different.

I don't eat any shellfish. Not kosher.

Those are some huge crawfish though. I didn't know they could get big.

This Moose wandered up to door today.

The blades were as dull as crayons but took an edge quickly. Excellent fit and finish. Nicely hafted stag handle.

Nice one Jake. That pattern looks good in gnarly stag!!

I'm digging the new 54, but can't justify another. I'm sure I can talk myself into one at some point :-)

I don't normally fancy a knife over 3.75" but the Wharncliffe on that new 54 has me interested, greatly....

But if they did that on the 66 pattern my response would be immediate :D:thumbup:

Pardon me for asking, but what exactly distinguishes the 54 frame from the 53?
Thanks in advance folks. . . Oh and Stich, that is one of my most favorite pictures on this blog. It has had me lusting after one of those in Brimstone for months now!

Half stops. The 54's have them, the 53's don't.

Thanks it's a great knife, and the pic was taken at one of my fishing holes, unfortunately I lost a 8 pound bass there last week when I bent down to grab his lower jaw :-(

You folks are killing me with the wharncliffe Moose, must resist...but that Schatt is sweet!

I'm mildly interested in the new 53 moose coming from GEC. Curious to see if they'll bring out some Northfield versions.

Thanks guys, I like that pic also, I took it on my cell phone, actually I take all my photos with my cell, I don't have a real camera since everything went digital.
