The "My Turn for a GAW" GAW *WINNER ANNOUNCED!!!*

Count me in.
And the Grand Tetons is just one of the many places I would love to not come back from.

Img_0293.jpg
I used to work there when I was younger. I used to take teams of horses right over the Teton Mountain Range from the Wyoming side to the Idaho side. That was back in my Wild and Wooly days :)

Beautiful! I really want to get up to the Tetons. I have done myself a disservice by not visiting any of the awesome mountain ranges or beautiful landscapes of the northern states but I will get up there one day.

I'm already in earlier. Not trying to stuff the ballot box in my favor. :)

3 of my all time favorite National Parks are all in the Rockies.
Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado
Yellow Stone & Grand Teton National Parks in Wyoming/Montana
Glacier Mountain National Park in Montana - and it's adjoining partner Waterton National Park in Alberta Canada. Together, they make up the International Peace Park.

I highly recommend you see all of them.

This little guy could use a big brother, I’m in!! Thanks for the chance.

I won’t say this is my favorite happy place but it’s definately one I enjoy. Anytime I can be out fishing in great weather with beautiful scenery I’m happy...throw in some fish and I’m really happy:thumbsup:

It looks like a beautiful place to be. I can feel the water and boat under my feet looking at that photo :) Good luck!

Here's a teaser !

Wow nice one! Oh man I need to get back out there soon.

I'm in, please and hello from Coarsegold.

Brother you live really close to my happy place! Good luck to you, sir :)

I'm in! I've never handled a Remington knife. My 2008 Vapor Metallic Mustang....

Thanks for the chance!

Cool car :) Good luck!

That sounds like a real man's job right there brother.

Not an entry, but it's a tremendously generous GAW.

My "Happy Place" is in the Sierra Mountains with my Jeep...

You must be loving it up in the Sierras with that Jeep. I use the 4x4 community's maps quite often when looking for places to go backpacking or to get lost somewhere :)

Without question. I've been to Rocky Mountain but not Yellowstone or Glacier yet. For sure I will get up there to check those out I have wanted to for a long time. So many beautiful places to see in the US.

I am in! That bullet knife looks just lovely.

And my happy place is the place I spent my summers growing up, Pilgrim Hotsprings, on the Seward Peninsula in Alaska. It is a magical place as far as I am concerned, and there is no where that is more home to me than that place.

Wow it looks amazing...makes me want to throw on a pack and grab the fishing pole :) I am planning a trip to Alaska maybe in the next year or two I have always wanted to do some fishing and go on a few adventures up there. There is so much beauty in Alaska I don't know how I'm going to possibly see it all. That must have been so magical to spend your summers there as a kid I'm sure that left a lasting impression on you. Good luck in the GAW, sir!

What a kind giveaway, and a beautiful knife too :) I don't often enter giveaways, but I'd like to throw my hat in for this one please. Since I live over in England, I'd be happy to pay the shipping costs

I grew up in Sheffield, very close to the Peak District National Park, which straddles several English counties. It's a great place for hiking, rock-climbing, all kinds of outdoor activities, and I'd say that is my special place :)

Here's some knife content, taken from a Mesolithic stone circle atop one of the gritstone edges I used to climb on when I was younger :)

Good luck everyone, and thanks again for the giveaway

I'm in - thank you very much.

At the risk of being considered self absorbed I present my happy place :)

Thankfully I am content within myself and striving always to grow in grace and wisdom.
Grateful for the love and companionship of family and friends I can sit alone too.

Having said that I was moved by colubrid's and JTB_5's posts. Peace and happiness - by definition.

Love that Trapper :D

waverave waverave thank you my friend for the GAW very generous of you. I love seeing new members hosting a GAW it speaks loads of your character. First I'm really glad you found your way here to this place it is almost an extended family. Second I'd be honored to participate in your GAW thanks for the chance at a fine knife.
Here's a knife picture just because.

I am in please.

my daughter on our first trip together to Maui.

How cool :) That must have been a special trip I understand why that would be your happy place. I'm ashamed of myself but I was actually born in Hawaii and I have only been back once in my life since then! I am so missing out. Good luck in the GAW!

Thanks for the giveaway! The porch is a fine place and I’m glad you’ve become a part of it.

Here’s one happy place of mine:

Looks amazing. It is hard to describe how nice it feels to be on the beach...but barefoot and with a kid in arms well that is the best. Good luck!

Thanks, I'm in.

The definitive happy place I like it :) Good luck!
