I used to work there when I was younger. I used to take teams of horses right over the Teton Mountain Range from the Wyoming side to the Idaho side. That was back in my Wild and Wooly daysCount me in.
And the Grand Tetons is just one of the many places I would love to not come back from.

I won’t say this is my favorite happy place but it’s definately one I enjoy. Anytime I can be out fishing in great weather with beautiful scenery I’m happy...throw in some fish and I’m really happy

3 of my all time favorite National Parks are all in the Rockies.
Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado
Yellow Stone & Grand Teton National Parks in Wyoming/Montana
Glacier Mountain National Park in Montana - and it's adjoining partner Waterton National Park in Alberta Canada. Together, they make up the International Peace Park.
I highly recommend you see all of them.
I am planning a trip to Alaska maybe in the next year or two I have always wanted to do some fishing and go on a few adventures up there. There is so much beauty in Alaska I don't know how I'm going to possibly see it all. That must have been so magical to spend your summers there as a kid I'm sure that left a lasting impression on you. Good luck in the GAW, sir!

I grew up in Sheffield, very close to the Peak District National Park, which straddles several English counties. It's a great place for hiking, rock-climbing, all kinds of outdoor activities, and I'd say that is my special place
