The New 2014 BladeForums KNIFE Thread!

I vote:

An exact copy of the knife in your thread about the "Continental Cutlery Co, N.Y." pen....except in stag

This has been a bit of a long road this year. Charlie was willing to do this. Gary and I thank him for it. We also thank Kevin for being willing to let this happen, and John for his generous offer of cover material. Whatever knife comes up, I am certain will be a winner. Every SFO I have seen developed with Charlie's input has been fantastic.

That being said, this needs to be a positive experience for everyone, including Charlie. Be advised that Gary and I are going to be protective of this effort.

My thanks to all the mods who have been patient with us.

Special thanks to Mr Spark, for without his forum, there would be none of it anyway.

Extra special thanks to Mr knowtracks for agreeing to undertake the arduous task of polling. A very brave man is he.

A very extra special thanks to Mr Lloyd, I wholeheartedly approve of the stag providence.

Finally, Mr Campagna, for what you have done and are yet to do; thank you.

Paul

Well said!!!

All wonderful news! Looking forward to the voting and excitement building around this knife. Kind of like getting a decoder ring for the forum.

Now that I have read Charlie's post:

Thanks Dave, John, Frank and Gary for your efforts.

I'm looking forward to a "Pattern Poll". Hopefully, it'll come up soon and hopefully, no pattern of a previous years Blade Forums knife will be considered for the Blade Forums 2014 knife.

What he said looking forward to this....

There may be some patterns I would prefer over others but I will do all in my power to own a forum knife, especially if it's got stag. Thanks to all involved.

Chris

FIRST..... I would like to give my most sincere thanks to ( not in any order )......

John Lloyd, I haven't met John, would love to one day, but I do hear he is one hang of a nice fellow-his generous offer of the Stag underlines this - thank you John.

Charlie, it goes without saying what sort of guy Charlie is - Charlie you have enough on your hands with your own projects - and you and Bill together have smashed out my favourite knives - theres NO denying that, with you at the Helm of this project, already its exciting...

Dave ( Knowtracks ) Dave I have had little to do with, we have corresponded a wee bit, and I hope more so in the future - on the forum, and to me he is an extremely knowledgeable and nice guy, so what a great team so far.

So in advance I would like to thank you guys for the bloody hard job you have ahead of you, thank you so very much for this.

STAG IS GOOD!
