They all look great....will have to check them out.

Just realized none of this stuff is out yet. Oh well, will check back in a few months.

Love the look of that Bowie.

Lets be honest, one of the things I like about it is the name and blade shape... Don't like the sheath though.

The site that these images are linked from have some more interesting photos of the other blades that are coming out.

Yeah looks like it'll be a "Mega-Boomslang" :D I get the feeling there are more tricks up their sleeves. Can't wait for these to become available!

Other than the Kukiri, the others seem to be minor variations on knives they already make.

If that gets Condor more business, then good for them!

I definitely want to see the Dynasty Dadao in action. The Garuda is ok, but a bit of a hard transition into the tip geometry. The Woodlaw, Village Parang, Dundee Bowie, and Pack Golok all look like they'll be new staples. Not sure I like the Sabertooth (I'm not a fan of sawback machetes) but I like the shape of the handle and am interested in seeing what other blade shapes they add to the lineup. Glad to see the remake of the iconic Collins Engineer's Bolo--I've been bugging Joe about that one for a couple of years now. Must have paid off! :p

It's pretty much official. Condor makes every style of fixed blade I've wanted and does so with decent quality so far. This company has pretty much monopolized my business in terms of fixed blades.

Same. I've had a hard time justifying spending much on fixed blades given the quality range that Condor offers for such low prices.

I actually don't own any condor blades yet (sad I know). I've had my eye on the golok as something I might give my parents for their cabin, but never really looked at most of the rest of their line.

Because I'm kind of condor-uneducated, how much (guestimate) will these things cost when they come out?

Also, I know 1075 should be fine, but what is the main difference between it and the 1095 I'm more used to (mostly have Beckers and KaBars right now).

Damn Condor is coming out with some sweet knives! FortyTwoBlades, you are going to be getting a lot of my money. Btw, I got my Hudson bay knife from you today and I am in love. I am sold on your 7 point check now. The fit and finish on this thing is far better than I ever expected from Condor and after seeing it, I would have been satisfied at twice the price. Sorry to sound like a commercial but I can't tell you how happy I am with Condor and Baryonyx knife co.. Now all I have to do is convince the wife that I need another four or five knives....

Damn you guys ! LOL STOP SPENDING MY MONEY BEFORE I EVEN GET IT !!!!!! LOL :D That Warlock looks like a "must have" item for sure !!!

I bought the Parang and was impressed, and grabbed a Hudson Bay knife yesterday, which I like (the thing is a freakin' cleaver). Now the Warlock is catching my eye and all I ever wanted was just a robust machete. :D

The difference between 1075 and 1095 at machete hardness is pretty negligible. You'd see more of a difference in the knives, where I find 1075 to be a little lower on edge retention but super fast to get back to screaming sharp. In theory it should be a little more impact resistant, too. All I know is I've never had a complaint about either steel.

Prices should be in line with present production models of similar size and materials. I'm guessing the Warlock will be around the same price as the Boomslang, for instance.

Glad you're enjoying it! The Hudson Bay is one of the few knives my better half genuinely gets excited about. :D I'm also glad you're pleased with the inspection system. If Condor has one fault it's their QC (which they're working on!) and while their customer service is phenomenal it's always better for you to never need it. I know the frustration of having to send stuff back immediately after opening the box so I try to help prevent that phenomenon as best I can. :p:thumbup:

No such thing as a knife guy with only one machete. Any knife guy who only has one machete just hasn't bought their second, third, or fourth yet. :D

I'll take me some of that Dundee Bowie, super sized with a Coke to drink, please.

Thanks for the response :). So basically you're telling me that 1075 is very well suited for machetes, but has a touch less edge retention at higher hardness. I can live with that.

And so I was looking around at the boomslang last night and noticed that a) the Warlock is basically a boomslang, and that b) the dundee bowie is basically their speed bowie with a new shape.

Here is a photo of the speed bowie for comparison.

I also noticed the street price of the speed bowie is around $50 or so, which means the dundee bowie should be roughly the same price?

Also, any reason why the handle has that much curve on it? I know that a handle angle like that generally lends itself to more chopping power but does it get in the way of doing more knifelike things?

Thanks for the help here, just trying to get a handle on stuff I'm not as familiar with :).
