Well, they're strong enough, but I think you'll find that most log home builders traditionally used a slew of axes, chisels, and other tools rather than anything very knife-like. ;)

In all seriousness, though, what actual uses do you intend on using it for? What kind of targets, and in what degree of frequency? How do you plan on carrying it? What's your environment? Lots of factors to consider to match you with the best model for your purposes, and the more detail you can give the better. :)
 
I was totally planning on buying a warlock, but then i got a Scrapyard 1311 and the itch went away
