Thanks man. Not sure why I'm coughing more today. Last night was the first time I went to bed in three weeks. Been sleeping in the easy chair. Maybe that's why.

day 2 of being mostly symptom free - stopped at the doc to let them know I had been sick and ask what else I should be doing - they swapped me.
neg for CV19, positive for Influenza A.
I can't express how, um, "heartbroken" I am that I have to miss the in-law's holiday party tomorrow. ;)

SWMBO logged into the sister chat about the party to let them know we're under Q for another day - and the sister who has been organizing everything mentioned she's been sick for over a week and tested positive. Should she stay home? What about her hubby and child - can they go without her?

It's been rescheduled for January 28...

I felt my best day after yesterday. Last evening, i started having panic attacks that I couldn.t breathe. Paced the floor for over an hour. Even ate supper standing up. Not much anxiety today. The wife and i decided to go for a ride. So tired of sitting in the house. Getting cabin fever. I don't feel sick per se, but just not quite right. Like, you know how you feel after being up all night, so to speak.

Started developing a pain in my right lung yesterday. Got worse overnight. Debated to go to er again. Have a dr appt in the am.

been coughing/sneezing a lot?
could easily be costochondritis -- essentially a pulled muscle/inflammation between 2 ribs.
Coughing yes, sneezing, no. Not trying to be gross, but I took a shit earlier, and could feel the pain all the way up into my shoulder. Hurt like hell.

Bad thing is, the meds are expensive. Have to have them too. Still at the hospital.

Hope thing will get better for you soon...
Can't imagine the stress not just from being sick but also the moneytroubles taking it's toll on you and your wife.
Hang in there!

Been home for a few hours now. The nurse told me the blood thiiner was about $200 for a months worth. The doctor later came in, and said it was $500. When we went to the pharmacy to pick it up, it was $650 per month. Effing ridiculous. Luckily, the hospital gave me a coupon for the first month free. There;s a generic, but if you take it, you have to go in once to twice per week to get blood drawn, to check the levels. By the time you pay for that as well, it makes no sense. Not only the lab bill, but gas to drive there once to twice per week. Not to mention getting stuck that often. Would rather pay for the good shit.
