The New Snark

Got some new glasses today. I didn't want to get another pair because I was hoping to have enough for laser surgery. I still don't have enough to cover it so I ended up biting the bullet and went for another exam and got my new prescription. I was presently surprised when I found out that you could.get "Real-Tree" and "Duck Commander" brand frames. I ended up getting the Real-Tree for my regular glasses and Duck Commander for my sunglasses. Looks like laser will have to wait a few more years.

Pretty impressive ability to cling to the wall...

Kill it with shotgun blasts and fire!!

I know, I know... snakes are hugely important to the ecosystem, and most of them never come anywhere near harming humans. But sorry dude, when I see one (either a tiny garter snake or a copperhead or a deadly cobra or a goat-swallowing anaconda), it has exactly two choices.... GTFO or die where it stands/slithers/whatever.

I fully understand that my hatred of those awful sons-of-Satan bastards is completely irrational. In my head, I know full well that they're beautiful and amazing and have as much right (probably more) to be on this planet as I do. I certainly don't go out of my way to mess with 'em. But it's a waste of time to convince me to love 'em.

Man i understand that completely!! My wife is plenty smart...... But man when it comes to direction, WOW. I love the woman to death but i think if she didnt have a GPS she wouldnt make it to work on time LMAO

The four of us should all get together sometime. You and me will happily make large pieces of various stuff smaller with various edged tools and eat brownies, and the wimmin will sit back and laugh at us :p

On Netflix check out Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown season 2 episode 7 Tokyo... It's one of the trippiest erotic confusing 48 minutes of tv...

That's the one with the anime/bondage stuff, right? I've been watching Bourdain for years, and I usually enjoy his work. I'd love to put a knife in his hands and watch him show me how to use it.

But I have absolutely zero interest in seeing that again... it's hard enough getting the slightest grip on the utterly twisted, convoluted maze of Japanese culinary and cutlery traditions, without getting into the weirdest examples of their weirdest peoples' sex lives.

Im all for that idea :D I imagine it would be an excellent night!!!

Ok im not trying to start an argument im honestly just curious because I never understood why people get mad about capital letters. I read people who said its like your screaming... But i dont get it.... People use different fonts and no one seems to mind that...Whats the difference? Its just a different way to read the words right? I actually searched the forum rules.... both the Becker ones in the FAQ and the ones Spark posted and I didnt see anything about not using caps lock, different fonts, bold letters or anything like that... Maybe im missing something???... I did see that Spark said make your posts count and not to just post LOL or OMG but thats about it. I think a good portion of the members here in the snark, including myself, have violated that rule... But I didnt know it was a rule until now though.....

But why so many people get mad about caps lock? I know its not just here on BF either... i have noticed in other places of the web as well...

Again im not trying to start a dispute im just curious what the big deal is?

for me, i'm making a joke. lol. go spend more time with the doge cat

:D

for the others, we're restricting sigs, esp if you don't have a paid account. no more graphics, or animated gifs. also no quotes.

since Ethan is gone for a few weeks, things will be polished when he returns.

naturally, i keed. go drink a beer or something :D

when Ethan comes back, this will be as sloppy as that last X Men movie

I'm a snake sympathizing sumbitch, but that is the best rationalization for you anti-serpent people that I've heard. You hit all the usual talking points and gave your rebuttal. Nicely done JT.

Watched "Heat" tonight. Haven't watched that one for awhile. Hard to go wrong with Al Pacino and Robert De Niro in the same movie, not to mention all the other stars in it. Love the bank robbery scene.

Thank you for understanding my point of view. :) Y'all can love 'em as much as you like, that's none of my business. Just keep 'em away from me.

You shoulda been a fly on the wall when Gus and Christine stopped by our place last Christmas time... picture me and him sitting on the sofa, racing to the bottom of a bottle of Four Roses Single Barrel and discussing everything from politics to metallurgy, while our far-more-civilized wives sat on either end of the room just rolling their eyes at us and having an actual intelligent conversation... good times :D

I don't like snakes. Period. I've been bitten by Texas rat snakes (as shown above - aka chicken snakes), king snakes, coachwhips, garters, and water snakes (similar to cottonmouths, but non-poisonous). I've been struck (but luckily not envenomated) by rattlers and copperheads. One of my cousins nearly died from a copperhead bite and I had a $1K+ vet bill when my blue heeler was bitten in the face by a rattler.

However, I only kill snakes in very limited circumstances:
1) You are a rattlesnake, you die.
2) You are a copperhead, you're dead, too.
3) You are a rock python, anaconda, boa constrictor, or non-native snake, you will be fed a final meal of hollow points.
4) I wake up to find your slithering axx in my bedroom, one of us is gonna be dead.

All other snakes get a pass because they eat rats, mice, voles, shrews, other rodents and a plethora of bugs, which is good, and they are NOT venomous.

Cbear. You need to get your ass of the couch and get a job already. WW gonna be pissed you top his post count! Lol. :D

Besides......... I got a desk knife sitting here to sell you.

Wow. Someone IS beating worldwood.

HAHA, yea i can see it :D It would be close to the same if we re-enact it im sure.... My wife is good at rolling her eyes at me LOL

Wow. Someone IS beating worldwood.

That isn't so bad, if you log onto Hammockforums dot com you can learn how to re-rope the hammock.

Watched "Heat" tonight. Haven't watched that one for awhile. Hard to go wrong with Al Pacino and Robert De Niro in the same movie, not to mention all the other stars in it. Love the bank robbery scene.
They have done a couple movies together I think. They play off each other very well! It's fun to watch.

Wow. Someone IS beating worldwood.
To be fair, it's my Snark thread, I need to make sure I'm the highest one in here!

You might out post me.... But you still wont be the "highest" one here right now :D

And ill look into re-roping the hammock, but i did send the seller a message and included that picture so ill see what they say before i start messing with it.

Im loving the hammock though so that alone is not making me upset about the purchase or anything.

Oh, I dunno about all that... You'd be surprised what I get into when I don't have to take a piss test :D

That is good. I love my hammocks and I am looking into getting a new one. I wanna get probably an Appalachian Hammock or a Warbird. My biggest thing is being a fatass... :( C'est la vie. I'll find something that "works" for me!
