Fun, innit? I got on the phone with the missus yesterday afternoon and had her laughing so hard she had to leave the office. I can't repeat what I said to her here; it was pretty gross. But I was seeing both grin-dimples and rolling eyebawls when she got home and I reminded her of it... and she still gave me hugs and smooches, so I consider that a victory. :D

It's well beyond "odd". Multi-million-dollar business in that stuff, though... it creeps me out, but I take comfort in knowing that compared to the folks who produce and support that sort of thing, I am mind-numbingly normal and boring.

WOLF brand canned chili is cheaper, and as far as canned "chili" goes (which ain't very far), it's not entirely awful. Let's be honest, it's all pretty much dogfood anyway, so why pay more?

Yes, several times. Not as good as fresh seasonings, but a lot easier to deal with. My Dad and I both liked it, all things considered.
 
I shot a cotton mouth at the lake a few weeks ago, the same day the neighbor was shooting at a snake 6 shots and he never hit it. They came and got me it was a 5ft black snake on the dock, I picked it up and moved it to a brush pile. I am not a big fan of snakes but if it isn't poisonous then I am fine to let it do its thing.
 
Shoot Wolf is honestly too "name brand." Hit up Aldi's and they have canned chili that is at least "on par" with the name brand stuff. Plus I usually will add an extra can of beans (muahahahahaha) along with some chipotle and hot sauce. In a pinch it's palatable.

You actually were able to get one?!? I'm so proud of ya! I feel like we should get you a merit badge or something. A guy on a hill with a revolver in one hand and a snake with legs running away...
 
Woke up to a huge crack of thunder and pouring rain. It took a minute to realize what exactly was going on and that my windows were rolled down halfway. I jumped up quickly, and stubbed my toe pretty good as a slung the sleeper curtains open to see that my seat was already soaked. Its gonna be a squishy ride home in a while.
 
Chili sounds really good. I haven't made any for quite a while, but I will have to soon. I usually make a really big batch and then freeze a bunch for later. The canned Hormel is meh, but melt some Velveeta into it and you have a pretty good chip dip.

And chili does sound great, even though its hot as hell.

I had some wings tonight. half BBQ and half hot wings. And a bunch of fruit. I have ate a ton of fruit the last couple days. When it gets hot i always crave fruits and veggies.
 
When it starts getting hot I start to drink hard cider, I also like munching on baby carrots and celery. Also grapes. I like grapes for some reason.

I been eating grapes, strawberries, watermelon, pineapple. bananas, and mangoes.

I could eat bananas all day every day happily no matter the weather but watermelon is just about the best thing ever in the heat.

If I was a guessin man, id say he had a sawed off shotgun at point blank range......cause he said he hit it. :D
 
Just heard that a farm opened in Ohio that is going to raise crickets for human consumption. They're going to grind them into flour and use that to make chips called "chirps".
