We have to be careful not to make this too long or complicated or it likely will not last long.
The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is ready to order! See this thread for details:
https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/bladeforums-2024-traditional-knife.2003187/
Price is $300 $250 ea (shipped within CONUS). If you live outside the US, I will contact you after your order for extra shipping charges.
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/ - Order as many as you like, we have plenty.
read the original post in this thread for where they are getting sold, prices will vary by model so finding old threads might give some info on that.
Thanks:thumbup:. I didnt see any info or pricing on the LC though?
Man, I'm broke and my F5 key is sticky. Not a recipe for being 1st in line. Ha!Coiled, is there anything in particular which you wish to share with the rest of us? Are you buying a bunch of them to disperse to us as Fall Equinox presents or something? Because I really can't wit till Christmas!
Man, I broke my sticky F5 key. Need to cook up a new recipe for being 1st in line. Ha!
Nobody is getting tagged as a flipper unless it's being a real problem. I wouldn't worry about it.
The idea is to try to keep it simple. People place an order for what they want, then leave it alone. I ship them what they want and everybody is happy. If it gets complicated it's not going to work. I have misgivings about doing this but a lot of people are requesting it.
I would suggest that if you plan to buy something on a sale, don't also buy it on a pre-order, because you're making two separate orders and asking me to cancel the one out with the other. That sounds simple, but multiply it by several people asking that same thing and add it to the existing circus and you have a real problem. You guys haven't seen my freakin inbox. My inbox is already overwhelming me and when there's money involved the stakes of a misunderstanding goes up. That turns stressful for me and I'm not doing it.
So, to keep things simple: If you want to order a knife at a sale - do so. If you want to pre-order a knife - do so. If you want to change your orders, swap things around, cancel and substitute and otherwise complicate the process, please don't.
Nathan,
Very cool you're giving this a shot. Hopefully we don't make you regret it.
Question for you. Are you planning to create the PreOrder thread roughly the same time as the Friday sale thread, or if not, would you disclose the day/time (rough estimate) in advance?
Thank you.
Nice work , hope i get lucky and pick one up !!!
