Usually it's posted before the actual sale starts what knives are going to be available; near as I can tell this time it's "pick your own", which is unusual.
 
Today's sale is a mix of 15, your choice of current blades in process.

Available work in process to choose from are:
4 basic 7" SDFK starts at $373
1 Really dumb Bowie knife starts at $825
5 DEK1 in AEBL starts at $305
5 DEK1 in Delta 3V starts at $353
5 DEK2 in Delta 3V starts at $373
5 Double Edge Dagger Ground 6" Utility Fighters starts at $613
5 Standard 6" Utility Fighters $393
5 AEBL Kepharts starts at $268
 
I am new to the forum but I am very interested in your knives, specifically the DEK1 in Delta 3V starts at $353.

I reached out on the website. Looking to get one before I head out on deployment.

Welcome to this little corner of Bladeforums. Would that your request was quite that easy. Hack around some threads here and get acquainted with the unique sales model that works for our Hosts.

Short version: Nate cobbles together some smallish number of knives. He announces that there will be a sale at 3:00pm EST on a given Friday. The Sales thread is opened at 3:00pm. You, we, reply with our desire to buy said knives. Within ~10 seconds all the knives are spoken for. Within 60 seconds there are five times the requests as there are knives available. Wailing, gnashing of teeth, rendering of garments, and heavy drinking ensue. Commiserations are shared in the After Sale thread. If we're lucky, it all happens again the next Friday! More fun! nb: If you do not share the magical powers possessed by steelcitysixteen steelcitysixteen you will never be #1. It's OK, we accept our station in life, fighting for scraps.

This is not how that works, but if you participate in the Friday sale, odds are pretty decent you'll get one. Most everyone is trying to shark an SDFK or DEK, so people looking for a UF2 or Kephart probably don't need to be the fastest. Even if you're far from the top fifteen posters, if Jo hasn't committed all her available Kepharts and you post in the thread reasonably fast and e-mail her, she may have one for you anyway.
 
Maximize your chances...do do that voodoo that you do so well...
