If I read right, Nathan is going to start a new thread for that ahead of time (in this forum) and then lock it. Then, at sale time, it will be unlocked. That way we get to peruse beforehand. He does that once in awhile on stuff that's out of the norm, and I sure appreciate his being thoughtful that way :thumbup:

This also gives advantage to the people on tapatalk, so if you have a good phone, and a good connection, this is a great time to get in on the sale.
 
It gives push notifications so you don't have to manually refresh. It's very unlikely a manual refresh will be timed just right.

Will Tapatalk notify when a thread goes from locked to unlocked? Or does this week's sale format end the tapatalk advantage?

I'm in favour of technical advantages getting levelled - particularly since I'm rotten with tapatalk :P

Wow I'm starting to understand why I'm not so fast on posting lol. For one I don't even know what tapatalk is lol. I've been trying F5 then typing in post box and hitting submit, just typing that now and I can see how I missed lol.
I think I came close once on LC, tried couple more times but no luck. Maybe with this new info I'll give it another go around :-)

Thank you, so it's something I need to sign up for. Once I sign up, I log into BF through tapatalk ? I'm only on computer for knives and old Pontiacs preferably Trans Ams :):) as far as forums go.

Ok gents, FNG question: do I need to be a paid member to partake in the CPK sales?
 
Tapatalk does give some kind of indication when the thread is unlocked though I am not sure exactly how it all works since I don't use it very much.

It's gives an indication just like the website, and you need to refresh the subforum to see the change.

I've done both with Tapatalk and website. IMO there not an appreciable advantage with either method. More time is lost in timing when to hit refresh than any speed advantage of these 2 methods. YMMV.

As far as my usage goes, I've seen push notifications on new threads but not on thread unlocks. Now I'm not a self-proclaimed Tapatalk expert, so I could be missing something. I manually refresh as I'm watching said thread.
