Oh, yeah! You still have a ways to go before you get your knife. I hope you have another knife to go camping and hunting with!

Well, Mike.... I see you do have one or two knives you could use for camping and hunting. However, I believe that your collection could use some culling. Some of those knives look exactly like knives that should be lliving at MY house.

So send them to me tomorrow, okay?

Thanks,

TJ

Yeah!!! You should be concentrating on your archery skills, not on knives. Knives are too distracting.

Send them all to me tomorrow. Thanks in advance. :D

Yeah, but that's in the past. You need to have many years and hungry nights worth of archery bows and such things.

The knives are such a burden to you that I am so certain you would feel better knowing they were in a good home and appreciated!!!

maybe for christmas 2067...

I just unwrapped my BF knife from Nick and all I can say is WOW! The workmanship is just superb. I almost wish I had ordered it with some pretty ironwood or cocobolo, but this micarta is beautifully done. The handle is one of the most comfortable I have ever held, with the slabs exactly matched on each side of the spine. I have several Fallknivens and Barkies with 4" blades, so this 5" is one size I don't have a lot of and I really like it. What a great hard-use knife.

A temper line on the blade!, and it looks like he used a checkering file to put some perfectly executed serrations on the spine. The leather sheath fits like a glove, is neatly stitched and is super sturdy. Reminds me of a classic heavy molded pistol holster.

I frankly can't believe the value this knife represents. I have knives that cost hundreds more and don't have this attention to detail.

This is one group buy I will never regret!

Thanks to tknife for all the help and to Nick for making this happen.

P.S. Here are a couple quick and dirty pics; sorry, the first one is a bit fuzzy...

I just got Judy's knife in the mail today, and I've got to tell you, Totally Judy's is Totally Awesome :). It will get a sheath with a Sam Browne stud, similar to the Prentice hunter below.

Oh, btw.......MtMike is my personal sheathmaker in case you didn't catch that. He's rather modest. Nick sent my knife directly to Mike at my request, so I have only seen pictures of my knife just like the rest of you.

Ain't she purty?

As soon as Mike makes my sheath, he'll be sending them both to me. I can hardly wait!!!!

Thanks, Mike....for posting the pictures of my knife here so everyone can be pea-green with envy! :D

wow... judy, that came out awesome... you're stoked...:D

great work again nick...

Thanks for the great reviews. I hope everyone finds there BFSK knife use full. I made them with the intention to be used hard, and still have good looks.
I told Judy that I wanted to keep her knife, but as promised, I shipped it for her. I have to say that, I will definitely be making more with that handle matl. It really came out nice.

Thanks again
Nick:)

Nick, as a leather guy, I get to handle lots of my customer's knives, and I've got to say that this is one ultra-fine piece of work. I admit to being partial to a good hardwood handle, and this one is perfect.

The guys 'n gals who already have theirs know what I mean -- for those of you are still waiting, be prepared for a great knife :) Of course, now I'm gonna have to listen to Judy beat me up until I deliver her sheath ;)

Congrats Nick, you knocked this one out of the park

Whoa there, Pardner. That sheath better show up with my NWA knife in it. I don't want any POS knife you picked up at a yard sale slipped in there by accident.

Judy

Wow Judy, I'm really liking that cocobolo! I think Nick may have just increased his backlog even more with that beauty :D MtMike, please post pics of its new sheath when done!
Svashster, looking good. I still have to say I'm partial to the green Micarta ;) ANd I still can't get over how great the handle just fills in my hand.
Great pics everybody.

Judy your knife turned out really nice. Great choice of handle material. Congrats:thumbup::thumbup:
