The NWA forum knife list.

Judy,

I have to say that you are a lady with darn good taste in knives. When I saw your knife I was green with envy, err, I mean, I was very impressed. So, since I couldn't have yours knife, I did the best next thing.

BTW, that sheath is a thing of beauty.

Golly gee whiz, Preacher Man. You are too kind. My knife is purty enough to envy, if one were inclined that way....:D I'm certain your knife will be equally as wonderful.

The sheath MtMike posted was not my actual sheath, it was for another knife that I sold here on the forums to raise funds for the Vampire Gerbil.

Mike has not made my sheath yet, but either he or I will be sure to pose a picture of the sheath with the knife when it is finished.

Thanks for the nice words. Nick really did a nice job on my knife, didn't he?

Judy

He certainly did. And you can bet what must be that quite nice knife collection of yours that Nick’s knife will be one of the most beautiful in either your or my collections. Of course, to be completely certain, maybe you could send me your collection so I could give you an impartial opinion. :D

Well, PM.

I think that is a wonderful idea. I will ship my entire collection to you tomorrow. To wrap each knife securely for the trip, I will probably end up with 4-5 very large and very heavy boxes.

They will be arriving C.O.D. and Insured. You don't mind picked up the tab on that, do you?

Well, if that's what it takes to get a glimpse at your wonderful collection, it may be worth giving up on getting that new knife... ...err... On second thought, why don't you just post a picture of your collection? That way I'll give you my opinion and I can still get a new knife. :D

Wow, PM.

I'd love to take a picture of my large knife collection, but my camera is not working. As soon as I get it fixed, I'll take pictures and post them, okay?

TJ

Of course.

All joking aside, I would really like to see your collection. You do have great taste in knives, so I'm guessing that your collection must be quite interesting.

All joking aside, I think I only have.....um....8 knives. Maybe 10. I think 4 of them were gifts. As I think I have mentioned previously, I really don't know anything about knives except that there is a handle and a blade. Oh, and typically the blade is very sharp.

I will be getting one more soon. The 2007 BFC Canittler knife in the Traditional Folders Forum.

ETA: I just made a list of my knives - once I get the Canittler (and my NWA) I will have 14 knives.

Don't worry; I don't have a very extensive collection either. I only have about 16 knives (counting folders and machetes). I started collecting about 4 years ago and got mostly good, but inexpensive knives. I'm on a tight budget. I'm also a bargain hunter. The most I've paid for one of my knives was about $48.00 for a Helle Knife of Honor (which is my only truly collectible knife, until Nick's arrives :D). If Nick's knife is any indication, you do have an eye for collectible knife beauty.

Got my email from Nick, yeah, yeah, yeah. He is working down the list, I was in the second half.:thumbup::thumbup:

Got my knife Friday night!!!!! What a great surprise sitting by the garage door whe I got home Friday night. First of all this knife is just awesome. It feels perfect in the hand, has a nice weight to it- not too light, not too heavy.
It's sharp as all hell, the sheath fits perfectly, and there is not one imperfection on it.

I own one other handmade knife... purchased secondhand from a coworker and fellow knife knut. But this one... this one is my first right from the maker, so it will always be extra special to me.:D

The best part of this knife is that it is BEGGING to be used... this knife is no safe queen (although I may have to order another from Nick and make it a safe queen before his work gets too expensive - pretty soon this dude is gonna have to quit his real job to make knives full time.)

I'll try to get some pics posted soon, hopefully I'll get to go camping soon and really put it to work!!!!!

Everyone that missed out, you better get in line early if he does another run!

NICK!!!!!

So if I were very close to the end of the list...

When should I expect to hear from you? :)

Guys/gals,

Is there still a possibility to get myself such a nice knife? I've been reading the threads, but can't find much info? Or am I missing something here?

Thanks,
CZ

I was told it would be november sometime and my name is easy to find on the list.... CZ we all jumped on a list back earlier this year ..April,I think is when I did....and playinng the waiting Game ever since for a great knife.....I re-read all the threads and gaze at posted pics to pacify me until I can hold my very own pair of NWA's.

Your getting close Tony, it will definitly be before X-Mas.

CZ, I responded to your e-mail bro.

Thanks again for all of the patience with me, I really am trying to make the lead times get better.

Thanks
Nick:)

no hurry on my end,NWA take your time bro I have plenty of knives to hold me over plus all the info and pictures on BF will hold me over until I hold my pair !!!

I'm 14 after Tony.

It would be so cool to get this by my birthday! But from all the positive comments I really don't care when it gets here. My first NWA - and definitely not my last.

Nick - put some ice on those hands! Don't want them getting sore on you.

Maybe we should all chip in and get you some massages for your hands for Christmas!
