The NWA forum knife list.

If there is ever a second run of these knives, I want in. I sat on the fence when the order was going around.

Man, that is a stunning piece of cocobolo! That sheath is a great design as well and will really set it off.

Thanks for the great pics.

Norm

If Judy just got hers, we're about half way through the list?

Is that about right nick? I'm near the end, think I'll get it before the end of the year?

NWA,
Is it to late to order another one, with the wood handles like Judy's. If not please add me to the list with same specs as the other one. Let me know how much and I will get a paypal out to you. Thanks,
Jim G.

Yeah, Nick, I'm thinking I like that cocobolo. Maybe when you get ready for the next run, I'll drop you a line and change my handle choice to that. No need to worry about it now, though. You have plenty of other knife-hungry 1st-runners waiting for their goods!

Sheesh. You guys can't have cocobolo. I got cocobolo because Nick loves me and I'm special. Cocobolo was more romantic than flowers or jewelry!!! :D :p ;)

Okay now I'm getting psyched. I've been patient but now that I see I just a few down the list from Judy it's getting a little difficult.:D They're looking GREAT Nick!!!

Bad news. Nick decided that after he made MY perfect NWA Knife, that he is not going to make any more. The cocobolo knife was so perfect, that Nick knows he can't improve upon perfection so he is throwing in the towel.

Sorry, Dude! You should have signed up ahead of me. :D :D :D

Aww c'mon I thought I'd have a little support from the only other gal on the list.
Those cocobolo handles are BEAUTIFUL!- I think Nick's going to have to do another run of these with hardwood handles! (Well, only if Judy will let him;))

Kris, yours will be ready to ship in the morning, unless you have changed your mind on the handle matl.

Nick:)

OMG Are you serious dude? That's awesome... shoot me a paypal invoice and I'll pay up my balance tonight! AWWW YEAH:D

Nick,

That cocobolo is stunningly beautiful. Is it too late to change handle material? If it’s not too late, what's the difference in cost?

Nick, I accept my ignorance on this matter, can you tell me (besides looks) the advantages and disadvantages of linen Micarta and Cocobolo as handle materials for a survival knife?

Cocobolo, will hold up to darn near anything. It really is a matter of your own preference. But if you really plan to run this knife through the paces I would opt for Micarta. Price is the same.

It's really up to you mate.

Nick:)

Hi Foxxtrot, please send me a e-mail and I'll let you know the total.

Thanks
Nick:)

Nick,

I'll go with Cocobolo. I want to use the knife hard, but I know I won't use it as much or as hard as I want. Besides, I fell in love with that Cocobolo handle. It looks soooooooo beautiful even my wife went for it.

Thank you man, I'm so happy I'm giddy as I type this.

Well, y'all just keep on eating your hearts out over the cocobolo handle that I have on my knife. It's sort of like an engagement ring in survival knife language!!

Just remember who got her's first!!!!! :p :D ;)

Nah, I'm just messing with y'all. Nick was sweet enough to switch my handle to cocobolo because the purpleheart wasn't working out. I did receive the green micarta knife that I ordered for my BIL. He has absolutely no clue what I am sending him. It is a great knife. I think Nick said that his backlog for new orders is just about 1 year from now. Pretty soon he's gonna have to quit his paying job so he can make knives full time.

Regardless of what handle material you get, the handle shape/feel and the blade are exquisite. Nick is a true artist and I am thrilled and excited to have this knife. Well, when I get it from MtMike I'll be excited to have it!!

Someday......these knives are gonna be really worth some money. Maybe everyone should order at least 2 or 3 so you can pack a couple away so you can sell them for thousands of dollars down the road. Nick gets a kick-back, of course.... :D :D

Judy,

I have to say that you are a lady with darn good taste in knives. When I saw your knife I was green with envy, err, I mean, I was very impressed. (Envy, who said anything about envy? I REALLY didn't envy your knife because THE BOSS says that in my line of work I'm not suppose to envy, even such wonderful sense of aesthetics as yours. ;) ) So, since I couldn't have yours knife, I did the best next thing.

BTW, that sheath is a thing of beauty.
