I added this one to my new CKF MILK using 550 King Tut--one of my favorites--tied up with two False Turk's Heads and an inexpensive blue glass bead. I got a pack of these a few years ago for short money and like using them both for their color and the ferrules that line their generous openings. They're also unlikely to mar a knife or clip that I'd like to keep unmarked.
Seems BF's being a little glitchy this AM and I ended up with a double post. I've got another new one that I'll get some pics of and put here later.
Back with an edit: Here's my other new one, an Andre Biryukov linerlock with black/gray/red CF scales. Nothing really special for the lanyard, just another favorite cord--550 Licorice--with six snake knots sandwiching an inexpensive bead from the big River Site.
I do really like this sort of backspacer with the integral lanyard hole that enables the starter loop to be long and floppy wile staying well out of the way of the blade tip.
I had a chance to obtain something I'd always wanted for a very reasonable price from a friend here that knew and was kind enough to get in touch. I took the Zoe Crist Damascus bead from my TiSpine that's on the Exchange and tied up a lanyard with 550 Licorice and two Crown and Diamond knots. I'm a big fan of partial backspacers with integral lanyard slots like this one on my new-to-me Shirogorov Russian Dr Death.
Couldn't leave it like that. Here is a proper lanyard knot with three wall knots to finish. Will try
to leave it like that for now. Should of ate lunch instead. LOL.
