The "Official" T.M. Hunt Custom Knives Random Chat Thread

Get him a growler or two that is TM Hunt approved......or at least Murph approved

it looks like quite a few of us are in for some pretty nasty weather this evening. Todd,Murph, Cbear and Diesel ( and any of you guys I missed in that area) seem to be in the biggest danger zone. I'm in the next highest zone (Toledo,OH). Make sure you all go over your plans with your families and check your gear and most importantly, keep a watchful eye. you all willl be in my prayers.

It ripped through here earlier. Some small hail, but not damaging. Winds were horrific though. We're still having strong winds today. Earlier it was 35 mph sustained.

I'm riding it out at Hooters. Looks terrible out there!

We skirted through the Southern pocket of the storm a little before it got too bad, then hit the Northern part right as it was letting up. Saw some badass clouds, two rainbows, and a runaway interstate sign dern near take out a Silverado on the southbound lane.

Here's the one we saw just South of Seymour:

Then getting back into it just North of Edinburgh:

Jerry was just a few miles from my house when he took those pics. Sky was scary thats a fact. fortunately for me. most of the relly bad stuff was just north of my house. (unfortunate for Jerry)

The rainbow picture wasn't far at all.... Let me know if you find that gold. Should be enough to allow you to run the shop full time.

There was one time that was making me wonder a bit when the sky turned a dark yellow, but I hit everything just right. I squeaked by the first rough patch before to got too bad (right after it eased up the county I just crossed was put under a tornado watch), then skirted through the second rough patch right as it was letting up and the semi's were just starting to get back on the road. We encountered a little hard rain and some mean cross winds, but overall it wasn't too bad and I got to see some great looking sky. The little lade took a lot of pictures, but I was only able to post the few I stole from her Facebook.

'Mornin.
About how I feel today. Went to bed with a nagging headache, and woke up around 4 with a pounding one. Got up took Tylenol, and finally got back to sleep around 6:30. Woke up at 9 with another one. HAd it ever since.

I did the exact same thing a couple of days ago Dubz. Good to go today. I think it's the back and forth weather we're having and the wild humidity swings.

I told Kathy the same thing. It's definitely sinus related. So bad I could feel it in my teeth.

So, I decided to pack up my beer this afternoon and make the trip down to Todd's shop. Turns out, that's a great way to get your knife bumped up in line! I also ended up with a big ass mug outta the deal.
Thanks for having me out to the shop. It was great to meet you guys. I appreciate you letting me work on my knife.... then consequently fixing my knife as Murph and I finished the growler of Wee Mac behind your back. And thanks again for the pizza.
The Magua is going to look real nice. I'm really looking forward to it. I was also able to get some hands on time with the mighty M18. That is a great piece of steel!

Unfortunately, I didn't get any decent pictures to share. I never think to snap any, sorry everybody. I'll try yo make up for that here soon. Todd sent me back with a little something to play with in the mean time.
