The "Official" T.M. Hunt Custom Knives Random Chat Thread

Lol, I love the fact the its so torturous for you guys, one of the only joys in life I have, I'm working in the shop all day today, I'll see if I can't get a group photo for ya all.

I don't mind waiting. I waited till I got the box last time and I was blown away at how gorgeous everything is/was/will be. I don't mind doing that again.

Make sure they're all jumbled together and the pic is blurry. Much more fun that way.

Todd,
We're aware you are working three jobs now but don't forget to keep us posted on Sophie and her progress or lack thereof. :D

Ask and you shall receive Ralph. Sophie is doing great, my wife weighed her this weekend and she 34 lbs. She's getting big so fast. Funny thing is she doesn't know it. Her favorite spot is cuddled up with the kids or with my wife in the recliner. I got on to her a little last night for chewin on some paper in my daughters room. It was more my daughters fault for not keeping her room picked up like we asked, so I wasn't to hard on her. Here's a couple of pics, the second one she giving me some attitude Lol.

We still have about 6 or so inches of frozen snow here. She loves to play in it but since the temps here haven't gotten much higher than the teens last couple of weeks she doesn't get out as much as we or she would like. I don't like being out or sending the kids out for very long to play with her so I think she's getting a little cabin fever. But even still then she very well behaved and is having less and less accidents, where hoping she starts to loose her puppy teeth soon. She loves to chew on things which is fine as long as its her toys, she likes to nibble on your fingers and toes that hang off the couch when your not expecting it and that with those sharp teeth hurts. But she doesn't mean anything other than being playful by it. It will pass.

Leo the cat on the other hand still wouldnt mind if she would take a long walk off of a short peer, but, He pretty much hates everything lol. Hes the lazy house cat that doesnt want to do anything but lay on whatever your getting ready to use just be a pain. Sophie thinks hes a play toy so of coarse when ever he is down from his perch she goes right for him. He however has no desire to play with her and gets pissed off. it's funny to watch, he's been declawed and doesnt hurt her when he bats at her and they've thus far never bit each other, so we just let them sort out there differences themselves. we figure they will learn to co-exist.

As of right now my plans are to leave the Tradewater just as it is.

This one cracks me up. It reminds me of my Dad's Blue Heeler. She insists on riding on the center console of his truck even though she really doesn't fit. She fit when she was a pup, but now..... Not so much.

HAHA! Used to have a great dane that thought she was a lap dog... she would do her best to lay in your lap, but soon you would loose circulation in your legs lol. She also would sit on her haunches in the passenger seat with her feet out in front of her... I guess she was trying to sit like a human or something, but she would just sit there and stare out the front window of the cab. She also had a bad habit of looking/putting her head on your shoulder when you were working on something so she could see. Miss that dog, she was on of the nicest and definitely the biggest puppy I ever had.. A real sweet heart. Even though she did eat some of my motorcycle  Todd's pic reminded me of things she used to do.

Thanks, Todd, for posting the pix of Sophie. She really looks playful in the first picture and is gonna' be quite a dog when she quits growing. She's really quite an attractive pup . . . you must have a knack at selecting the 'pick of the litter'.

Actually what's strange, when I got hooked up with this breeder, Sophie was the last pup she had left. Which made me wonder what was wrong with her. But she (the breeder) told me she didn't know why and gave me the number of her vet to talk to. So, I did just that. Turns out. The vet told me that Sophie was one of 11 pups. And out of all of them, our dog and one of her brothers was by far the best of the litter and had the best traits as far as what to look for in a good pup. The breeder and the vet both couldn't believe she was the last picked. We just got lucky to snatch her up.

In a lot of endeavors, I'd rather be lucky than good!

Sure paid off in this case . . .

that a great looking pup! we do blue heeler rescue here living with 5 at the moment! here is our facebook page! https://www.facebook.com/blue.rescue?fref=ts

Doc, that's great! I love heelers. Dad's is very smart and incredibly stubborn, but that's all part of her charm.

If you weren't so far, I'd be inclined to bug you when I move out of the apartment and get a house sometime in the next year or so. I miss having dogs around.

I'm looking forward to seeing the brass back Bowie you'll be cooking up.

I'm quite excited about it too. I've only made one before, and when I did it was hard to send to the customer (somewhere in Florida) Ive been wanting to do another ever since. heres the old thread. The new one is going to look quite different than this one but the thought and materials will be similar.

Ugh. Arts and crafts.... Black n Blue Magua and I are helping the little lady work on the wedding invitations. She didn't like my idea of index cards with "you can come to the wedding" written across it in sharpie.
