Inigo Montoya?
so, Todd - when is the best time of day to call and talk?
Todd,
when's shop building day?
the boss at work told me I need to burn a week of vacation before the 20th of April.
I haven't broken the news to SWMBO yet.
Murph - How's the new Mudbug treating you?
Excellent! I really like the idea of a lock back sodbuster with GEC's quality. The Mudbugs as well as the GEC Bull busters are up there on my list.I've been carrying it off and on since I got it. I love the fit and finish of it. I'll confess that I have only used it once though. The Hornet gets more use, but only because I'm not used to carrying a folder anymore. I'm thinking of cutting up some limes in a bit so I'll be sure to employ the Mudbug.
OK, truck is loaded - mostly - with the roofing coil nailer and a LOT of roofing nails, roughly 6k framing nails, the framing tool box, 3 different propane forge burners (2 commercial made, 1 home-made), 0-20 psi regulator and hose. In the fridge, 2 growlers of local brew. in the freezer, a pound or so each of smoked lamb and shattered pork. In the lunch bag, 1/2 pint each of plum syrup concentrate and brandied plum preserves. sitting by the door is my bag of clothing.
Tomorrow's plan - get up, shower, dress, toss the last bit of stuff in the truck and drive the 650 miles to Casa del Tim.![]()
Drive safely my friend. Will be glad to see you later this evening!
