The "Official" T.M. Hunt Custom Knives Random Chat Thread

Inigo Montoya?

so, Todd - when is the best time of day to call and talk?

You can call anytime thats convenient for you. (Except 2 A.M.)Its just hit and miss on if I will be able to answer the phone depending on what im doing at the time, but if I dont answer, just leave a message I'll call you back. I should be out in the shop most all weekend so that will be good. Ive been wanting to chit chat with you about a couple of things to, so that will be good.

Cabin fever is kicking in hard and the levels of stupid at work were a bit above my threshold.... I'm sitting back enjoying a few pints from a local brewery and I realized that this is just around the corner:

Hey guys, I feel a little odd posting this but I would really appreciate the help.

I have entered a contest to have the adventure of a lifetime and be on a Survivorman show with host Les Stroud.
I have been a fan of Survivorman for many years and I would be honored if you guys would support me on this and vote for me in the contest.

Here is the link to vote for me. It is titled Jeremy Adley's Entry. Let me know what you think of the video! http://lesstroud.ca/survivorman-competition-videos

If any mods have a problem with this post I will respect their wishes.

Thanks in advance,

Jeremy

voted again -- and on an unrelated note, rumor has it there's a chance for a free KaBar in their forum.....

Todd,
when's shop building day?
the boss at work told me I need to burn a week of vacation before the 20th of April.
I haven't broken the news to SWMBO yet.

Don't. Let her think you're going to work as usual, then spend all day drinking.

Murph - How's the new Mudbug treating you?

I've been carrying it off and on since I got it. I love the fit and finish of it. I'll confess that I have only used it once though. The Hornet gets more use, but only because I'm not used to carrying a folder anymore. I'm thinking of cutting up some limes in a bit so I'll be sure to employ the Mudbug.

Excellent! I really like the idea of a lock back sodbuster with GEC's quality. The Mudbugs as well as the GEC Bull busters are up there on my list.

Ok is it wrong that now any time I see a Ricaso with a grind at an angle, I think "Hey is that one of Todd's" and if it isnt I am now always like "Hmmmm that guy ripping off Todd's style ?"

Todd, your inbox is full, so I will just answer that last pm here.

I completely agree with the first part.

And I'm still tentatively in on the gathering. Will know for sure in a couple weeks.

OK, truck is loaded - mostly - with the roofing coil nailer and a LOT of roofing nails, roughly 6k framing nails, the framing tool box, 3 different propane forge burners (2 commercial made, 1 home-made), 0-20 psi regulator and hose. In the fridge, 2 growlers of local brew. in the freezer, a pound or so each of smoked lamb and shattered pork. In the lunch bag, 1/2 pint each of plum syrup concentrate and brandied plum preserves. sitting by the door is my bag of clothing.
Tomorrow's plan - get up, shower, dress, toss the last bit of stuff in the truck and drive the 650 miles to Casa del Tim. :D
