today........... was a good day.
I got in last night and Todd apologized for taking me to a bar for dinner - where he insisted I order the 24 oz ribeye dinner -- it was pretty tasty.
the we talked about the plan for the week and propane forges.
today we ripped off siding, cut a hole in the wall, installed a door, shoveled gravel, drank beer, test fired the propane forge, and drew knives on steel for murph to cut.
then Todd grilled burgers for dinner and we covered them with cheese, grilled onions, and smoked shattered pork.

In other news; I got my Magua today. Wife had to mail it to me. It's pretty awesome. Thanks Todd!!
 
Love my Skelemag -- and miss it - it's gone AWOL somewhere in the house.
OTOH, got to see some killer projects in the works and the stack o' blanks being worked up for Blade.
drool.
 
It's turning out to be a great evening. I wish I was able to head downtown to the baseball game.

worked on the forge today - first coat of refractory clay is drying, hopefully I can get a second coat in it tomorrow.
 
Fun stuff, Vik. My wife and I went to the home improvement store to pick up some flowers today. We ended up buying some flowers, a chest freezer that was on sale, some bug spray and a little bit of charcoal to try out the small grill outside by the lake here at the appartments.... Now that we have the freezer, we will be able to stock closer to an appropriate amount of beef. :D

Oh, the grill worked well. We'll be grilling out more often.

Not sure if anyone noticed, but the TM Hunt website is down. At least it is at this moment. Says account suspended.
 
Just wanted to pop in and say it was great to see Todd and the whole crew again at Ethan's this weekend! :)
