I ended up pre-ordering the standard edition - so now I have both editions coming. This opens up a lot of possibilities for me. This gives me a version to "beat on" a bit more than the pretty M390 version. I'll also probably swap the scales on them since I'm not a big CF guy. What pushed me over the edge was the great price - well under $200.00.

I was really hoping this one would be out before Blade Show...but I guess that's a pipe dream....
 
They don't give an estimate but I heard that it would be the end of the second quarter of this year :D
 
I see second quarter in a few places as well. My question is: what is the knife industry's fiscal year? Does second quarter mean Apr-Jun? If so, that would be soon.
 
Any news??? I too am hoping for a release around blade show...this would make a helluva fathers day gift!
Come on KAI, take my money please.

Yep, I think I see one of them in my crystal ball.I believe the 0562CF is going to be very popular and give a good bang for the buck.This one will be an interesting release.Stay tuned and baton down the hatches.ZT just keeps churning out some good quality very popular knives.
 
Indeed.

A regular production ZT with CF, M390, KVT flipper, Ti FrameLock and a street price of $240 will be a big winner!

I turned my camera on for 39 seconds at the ZT 0454s lotto, when I tuned it off.. they called my name/#.

I got a chance to play with both editions of the 0562 at Blade Show (my report with photos is in the Gallery forum). As impressive as the photos and specs are, it's even more so hands-on. Really glad I pre-ordered on this one.
 
With all of the ZT's announced on Blade Show there are a lot of new ZT's coming out this year. Considering the ZT 0562cf announced a few months ago I think it is coming out soon.
 
we're pass end of 2nd quarter now!!
I sold my sng the moment this was announced, when does it hit the floor, when when when?!!!
