That was 11 months for the 0770CF but ZT also had to procure enough CF since they suddenly went from the aluminum 0770 to both that plus the 0770CF. The regular production ones usually take about 6-9 months from announcement. The 6 months is about middle of next month!
 
Trouble is having a preorder I get to have my hopes up all the time. When it finally arrives I will have to find somthing else to preorder

I hear you. waiting on 0562 also. do they wait until the regular and CF are ready and release them both, or release each model as they're ready?
 
I think we will see the 0562 series after the full production of the 0454s are released. My guess would be September as well
 
I'm now excited for the 0620cf. Never had an Emerson but I'm looking forward to this collaboration!

That may be so, but it wasn't me who was talking about it and he quoted the fella who mentioned the 0620cf...maybe he should check what he's correcting before he falsely corrects someone.

As for me, I just want to see the facts straight. I, personally, think that a bit too much hinderer went into the 0562 and I'm already foreseeing myself being a 0620 fan after seeing both videos, but that is a discussion for another place.

True that. I've never owned an Emerson but I would love to try one. I'm interested in the 'wave' feature.

The spyderco wave is awesome! I've got a 1k arriving early next week and I expect the 0620cf to be awesome as well, will be my first knife in M390

I pre-ordered the 0562 instead of the 0562cf because I do construction, and I don't think that the blade would stay polished like that for long. But I would love to try m390. I am in love with elmax though. On my wicked edge it gets scary sharp.

I'm not a fan of the thumbstud being only a blade stop, and isn't meant to function as an actual thumb stud anymore. That was the kicker for me...I'm a thumb stud guy, A flipper is nice but without a thumb stud I'm pretty much totally turned off.
 
I agree. I like to use the thumb stud in a flipper knife often. I preordered the 562 primarily for the steel. If I find the thumb stud can t be used to open the blade, I might cancel the order.
 
I've never been a fan of ZT because most of their knives are too big and ridiculous looking, but this just might be the knife to win me over. I have been pondering the Hinderer line, mainly a 0566 because it's closer to my usual EDC size, but the 0562 kinda has it going on. Especially the CF/M390 and that real nice looking finish job on the blade. I just wish I could get a better idea of the size before I preorder one. Nothing ever looks the same in my hand as it does on the internet.
