Patience is a virtue. Seeing as these bad boys are regular production models, I'm planning to wait till the feeding frenzy is over. No preorder for me. I'm just excited to start seeing them out in the wild!

It splits the difference in handle length between the 0550 and 0560 at 4.75"-4.80", and has the same blade length as the 0550. Interestingly, overall length is only .1" longer than the 0550. I think that's a great thing.

I don't know what too late really is, but most stores have closed their preorders for this knife. I refuse to pay secondary market prices...even though this isn't a limited run knife (I think).

I kinda feel gouged already...

A "certain" knife website is selling their preorders for $40 cheaper than another "certain" website...

I'm not trying to go way off topic, and I'm pretty new. Why does no one ever say a company name here? I said where I got my preorder earlier, I'm wondering if I should of? I'm not trying to start anything I just see it all the time and I really don't understand it. Any insight would be great.

Most places will stop preorders after a certain amount because they don't know how many they will get. This isn't limited so they will continue to get stock after the initial batch. You might just have to wait a week after the initial release.

I feel your pain. I way overpaid when the 560 came out. I paid $300 and now I'm seeing them for $220 or so. The 0562 is regular production so I'll get it whe I get it, if I get it!

Just ordered an 0560bw for 220. They oversold so I had to wait 5 extra days, it shipped yesterday and should be here Tuesday. I didn't complain or anything but he refunded me 75. So BNIB for 155 is ridiculous. I paid 220 for my 0561 though.
 
This knife is on my want list, but I realize it will probably be a year, maybe two, before I will be able to get one without waiting for it. I'm sure by that I will want something different. I do not own any ZTs, this one being the only one I really want to own.
 
Wow, $155 is an awesome price! I love the BW look but wouldn't buy another 560 variant as I don't even use the 560, just too big for regular EDC use for me. The 0566 is ideal for me (still wish it had Ti scale) but I'm really tempted with the 0562 though.

The 0562 is supposed to be out in 2014 so hopefully a year or two won't be the necessary wait time.

Just had BHQ adjust the price on my preorder from 240.00 to 209.95
 
I plan on getting one of these.

But I will wait until they have been out a while so that the price comes down and they are easily available.
 
I've been waiting for this thing for too long..too much suspense! it better not be a disappointment lol

That's pretty cool. I was probably in the first 5 people to get a preorder in with BHQ, but after I saw the price elsewhere, I simply cancelled it.
 
Is this an August/September release? I am sure it is in here somewhere, but this is my next ZT, and I am really looking forward to it!
