I just called BHQ; they're currently boxing up 0562CF pre-orders for shipment later this afternoon.

How's the handle scale fit on the CF model? since some have mentioned the g10 version has some issues in that area.

Scale fits ok, could be better. In places it's maybe 0,5 millimeters wider than the steel liner but this is not an issue for me.

I spoke with BladeHQ today regarding my pre-order and they were just getting some 562 CFs in. I was told I was one of the first 50 pre-orders so I hope that means I will be getting mine in the first batch. I'm really excited for this as well as the 620!

That's easy. Buy two. Grind the flipper off of one of them and leave the other one unmodified. You'll end up with a flipper and a non-flipper for less than the secondary market price of a single non-flipper XM.

This makes me wonder how easy it would be to flick that blade stop pin if the flipper was removed.

I'm on the sidelines at the moment as well. Whatever issues occur with new ZT knives normally get sorted out by the time the first run has been produced and delivered. And the 0562CF is an open production knife. So I'm letting the first run go by before I buy.
