Todd- one relief for the bearing is on the lockbar slab. The other is in the blade itself. There's not enough meat on the g-10 side to do it any other way
 
Well I guess the elmax 0562 is mine for keeps now. While putting it back together and adjusting the pivot it bit me. Dirty sob. Never underestimate how smooth a piviot is!
 
Sadly KSF messed up my order and sold and sent out the one that I paid for :( gotta wait now for them to get the next shipment in :mad:

I have had a pre-order in for the 562cf from knifecenter for months now, and keep getting the email from them saying they have not forgotten about me. When they do actually come in and get an email I will probably think nothing of it.

Mistakes happen. Classy move by KSF to publicly apologize. Hope both parties wind up happy.

And I was a little quick to frustration there, it wasn't your guys' fault. Apologies on my end. Things will get straightened out though!

Kudos for good business ethics, there has been a lot of drama from makers and vendors recently who treat customers like crap. Stay classy! 👍

Ps, really enjoyed KSF on the everyday commentary podcast. I will probably listen to that episode again this week.
 
I have a request. Can somebody who has a 560 and 562/cf take a picture of both side by side? I know sticktodrum had them side by side on a vid but I would like to see a couple of pictures if possible.

Also, did any of you guys preorder from RKBlades?

Same thing happened to me. They were super apologetic and felt really bad. No biggie, shit happens. It is just a knife after all. ;)
 
Has anyone got a shipping notice from BladeHQ on the 0562cf yet? I inquired about if the were shipping soon and where my order is in line (because I heard the rumors on here about them getting them in stock)... this is the response I got earlier today:

I have heard similar rumors but cannot confirm any of them. ZT plays things pretty close to the vest and has not given us a definite release window on these quite yet. I apologize that I do not have any more information for you. Any information we do get we'll definitely be posting on our website as well as our other media sources. If you have any further questions please let me know.

This will be the last time I use BladeHQ if it is true that they put some up on their site before filling preorders...

I feel the same way... I looked on their site and it says "out of stock" as if they were selling them at will before honoring their customers that came to them first. They probably wanted to make money on "new" customers and make us wait since our preorders are in:mad: I put my preorder in shortly after it was available to do so. If they are bullsh****ng us because they have our preorders, I will never order from BHQ and speak negatively about them from here on. I've waited long enough to be pushed to the bottom of the list..

I spoke with BHQ on Friday and was told they expected them in soon and that I was one of the first 50 preorders. Maybe it was a mistake that they were put up for sale today? Just speculating, I will upset too if they actually sold some.
 
I talked to them Thursday and they said they had them in and had started filling preorders. But they wouldn't tell me where I was on the list. Seems like no one is getting the same answer from them. I'm over bladehq and their bs
 
Wow that is pretty messed up. Unfortunately I have the 620 and 620CF on preorder with them too...
