sorry if I sound like a downer but does your CF scale get funky near the pivot or is it just the way the picture was taken ???

I am candidly surprised that Hinderer allowed ZT to make this knife, honestly. I did not have a real interest in paying flipper scumbag secondary market prices for a Hinderer XM-18 in the first place, and I have ZERO interest in doing so now. Plus, I'd rather have the M390 of this knife over the S35V of a Hinderer. I can say that this knife's arrival explains why you're seeing so many Hinderer XM-18s on the Exchange lately. Rats off a sinking ship, in my opinion.

It's due the angle of the camera and the light hitting the CF. The scale is very "deep", so looking at it from different directions produces what appears to be a different pattern. Looking at it head on, it's not discernable.
 
I just came back in from been outside and with natural light I can get the same effect pretty cool :thumbup:
 
After a few days with it everything that's being said about this knife is true, it feels great, solid as a rock, it flies open(really), and it looks amazing, I don't want to put it down..!

About the only change I see myself making is the one Rolex John did where he scotch padded the screws on the knife. They end up matching the pivot and it just looks right. Either way, the knife is amazing, but I think it will look better with those screws polished up.

Also, I am very pleased that I got an early version before they cut the scale back to reveal more of the jimping. I personally find that this looks better to me. I have an early serial: #131.
 
I just got my shipping confirmation. 0562 is inbound!!!

I'll wait until the m390 cf version prices level off a bit before I order that one in.

Just got my zt 0562cf and it is awesome. I can't believe the quality. The cf is perfect, great lockup (20%) no blade play. Fires like a rocket and is shockingly smooth. I just got a rj Martin q36 liner lock and was so excited. Then I get the zt and man it's pretty solid for 1/9th the price. As far as smoothness the 0562 is up there, behind my shirogorov 95 w/ srbs, andre Thorburn l51 & the q36. Besides those it's my favorite flipper.
 
I can't believe I'm saying this but I am extremely impressed by ZT. I'm new to the knife game and really only interested in high end flippers. I've never owned a ZT flipper. I bought the 0562cf because I read some great reviews. I can't say enough about the quality and flipping action of this knife. It is right up there with my high end flippers with the action to match. The sound is between my l51 and Q36. It's just a joy to flip out and I can't not make it full flip. For the price I am going to get another one as my EDC. Fit and finish is sweet as hell.

Hopefully these pics & videos will help you guys out if you are on the fence. I LOVE this KNIFE!

Just got mine in the mail today, the ergonomics are phenomenal. The clip just slides onto your pocket making it effortless when taking it in or out. Overall I'm quite happy with this :D

On a side note, is there any way that I could get the blade sterilized? Anyone on BF that could do that?

Ok thats it! I'm gonna grab a beer and hopefully my patience will come back. After 4 moths it is almost unbearable to wait until this knife will drop in the mailbox. These pictures don't help....

Ow and my name is Ruud, I'm an addict too...
