11X11X - I have gone up the drainage from Bidwell Park a couple times. My target was an upper Cretaceous outcrop that is rich in fossils. I didn't find any ammonites like I wanted to, but I did find some decent baculites with full thickness shell intact.

How do you guys edit your pictures? I just have a Kodak digi and resize the pictures down using windows paint application. However, I feel it affects the quality. Not sure what else I can do, other then having jumbo sized pictures. Advice is most welcome.

I use the FOTOSIZER. It is an application specifically designed to resize pictures in batchs, so you don't need to do it one by one. Simplest application ever. It is also freeware (in English, don't worry). I always get it from SOFTONIC.COM. It is an spanish site, but I am sure you can make it work just fine or look for it elsewhere.

I wrote something in the SOG photo selection and I've put some more pics there.

And I like the knife, it feels good in the hand. Only problem is that AUS-8 doesn't hold an edge for too long. It is still sharp but not razor sharp. I definitely need to get a sharpener. I also think it's a great tactical, if you hold it in your hand you can feel that it will pierce superb. One tip, don't pry with it, the tip is very sharp but not very strong. So don't pry, but you shouldn't pry with a knife of this size anyway.

But I think it is a very good knife if you can find it for the right price. I don't want to pay more than 80 bucks for it. I paid 64 on the bay. And I love the looks of it.

and you too! wtf lambertiana your pics always look like scenes from heaven. I need to get on your backtrail....

lambertiana, I'm pretty sure this is the same place where you took the first picture. I can't remember for sure where this was taken. It was back in 2000. I think it was somewhere out of North Lake near Bishop. I knew it looked familiar when I saw your picture so I looked at my old album and found this..
