Just finished an annual motorcycle trip. Took off and explored Utah for a week with my brother and a friend. Highlights were Zion NP, Bryce NP, and Capitol Reef NP. First time at Capitol Reef and I was impressed with the beauty. Hope to go back next year...will reserve a little more time for hiking. Thought I'd post a few scenery pics of our day-hike.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

SORRY its taken me so long to reply re: my old girl.
Shes a 1978 FJ45.
Completely original and 100% steel, no rust.

She is my daily driver altho it can be rather frustrating at times i love her to bits; c/w 4 wheel drum brakes and strong arm steering paired with a good old Detroit locker in the back.

Here a few more photos of my girls. The misses and i love to get away as often as we can, 99% of the time it is into the 'Victorian high country' which is closer to home now altho we both absolutely love traveling into the remote outback regions of Australia (and my birth place) when time allows.

Travis.

Travis22, kick ass photos. Your truck is so cool. The fact that is all original and rust free is amazing too.

Travis that Toyota is sweet man. I'm loving that old coupe beside it. Is that the Ford Falcon XB Coupe aka Mad Max's Interceptor? Looks a lot like it except the front end is different.

Travis, very cool pics!! Those old FJs are just plain bad ass. That one you have there would be worth quite a bit in these parts. You hardly ever see the pick ups, at all. Does it still have the original engine? I saw a few vids of a guy from Oz with a GM LS1 in his, the things are almost unstoppable with a 100 horsepower, much less 400.

Dogs relaxin after chasing steers all day. The red dog just spotted a coyote but I couldn't get a pic of it.
