Not that anyone would ever buy it but I made it from an old lawnmower blade and some hardwood I had in the shop. I just really like it.
Frank.

This was my Father's MK-1 made by H. Boker USA. He served during WW2 on the USS Lake Champlain aircraft carrier.

I have three. An old Old Timer from each of my grandfathers, one a whittler and the other a trapper, and a stainless Spydercos Dragonfly from my wife.

I was thinking how cool, I wonder who made it!
I think many of us would buy that!!
Not that I think you should ever sell it... That's a pass on to someone important knife...!

I have 4 that I'll never sell, but use them all.
1. Spyderco Manix 2 G-10 plain jane - gift from my wife
2. Spyderco Native 5 G-10 - gift from my wife
3. Spyderco Ti/Damascus Delica - gift from my wife
4. Hinderer XM-18 3.5 Slicer - grail and favorite

I like how a lot of these important knives came from posters' fathers or grandfathers. It's a wonderful thing, getting a knife from your father. I remember when my dad gave my my first pocket knife and taught me how to handle and use it.

This was a Christmas gift from my parents back in the 1970's. It's the only knife in my 250+ knife accumulation that I would never sell.
The only other one is a CRK Umnumzaan my wife bought me for my 50th b'day 7 years ago.
All the others mean nothing to me.

I like the lines on that Case. The lines and the bolsters work well together.

This CRK's birthday matches my daughter's, so it will never go anywhere! Sorry for the blurry pic...

Well, actually, two come to mind.. The wifey got both of them for me - the Sebbie is from 10 years ago; the Barkie is from last year:

Don't worry, though, she has plenty of diamonds - hehe...

Thank you, 10 months after she was born it popped up on the exchange for under $300 for a large 21 with some light carry marks but little else to show for wear.

amazing luck! If I had one with my daughters birthday (6-16-03) I would never sell it either.

I'm trying to get to a point where all the knives I have fall into this category...I feel I'm close, and still like everything I have, but some pieces have more personal value over others. This piece by Jared Oeser is definitely in the "never sell" category - a true custom, built exactly as I requested (with 4.5 billion year old Gibeon meteorite for the shield):

I think that almost half of my knives qualify for the never sell category, but there's only one definite: the first knife I made myself. I would never sell it. The others that I FEEL like I'd never sell, but might if I needed to buy a kidney on the black market are:
-BM 940-1
-Spyderco Gayle Bradley 2
-BM 761

My only definite never sell knife. The first, and so far, only, knife I've made:
