the only unsharpened benchmade blades i’ve ever seen have been on trainers, the old grip display knives with the clear scales, & that Jordanian 860 that sre1 has. i think whoever you spoke to was mistaken about wether they would be able to sell you one that wasn’t sharpened. i’m sure it was an honest mistake, i've never had a bad experience with they’re warranty dept
