The Oregon Knife Show for 2016!

Dang! Charlie sneaked away from the table while I was busy and snapped up all those beauties before I had a chance! No fair Charlie!!!:rolleyes:;)

I did come up with this beauty though; a Jim Behring 'Alaskan' (my name for it) featuring an upswept bowie-style six inch blade and gorgeous musk ox handle. I've always been a sucker for Scagel style knives by Jim, Mike Malosh and others, and was really pleased to find this beauty. :D

25 Watchpocket Barlow is smaller than it appears in the photo. :o

Barry, what covers are on that #25?

(For those of us who consider it the star of your picture, with some other large something-or-other in the background. ;))

That Alaskan is a beauty! I got to chicken-eye and coon-finger it for a bit!

Thanks everyone.

P, The handles on the 25 are smooth white bone and a favorite. I'm hoping to see similar covers on the new 14 pattern.:rolleyes:;):)

Wow-- I was wondering if you'd re-clad it in something more exotic. I love how it has aged.

And yes, smooth white bone is always a boon regardless of pattern, but on a #14...? Oh, please.

Great photos and a Beautiful Alaskan Barry!
I had a GREAT time once again this year! Enjoyed seeing friends and making a couple new ones. I finally got some time to post up some shots of the action at the show.
So lets start with the folks that were there... Dan and Charlie

Haven't had time to take any pics of the knives I bought/traded for. Stuck at work and it's been either rain or snow since I got back here. But hopefully soon!! :D

Thank you Barry, Charlie and Dave (Knowtracks) for the beautiful pictures. Some fantastic knives and wonderful folks.

Great photos of the show Lloyd and Dave, you guys pretty much got it covered. I have added a few closeups of the Sunday Knives display, the Remington Scout display and a display case of KA-BARs with an etched KA-BAR Grizzly. Nice scenery shots Charlie and nice knife pics Charlie, Barry and everyone else who posted.

FANTASTIC PICTURES EVERYONE!!! Thank you for that as it gives great insight to a wonderful show:cool:

I'd love to attend someday:thumbup:

Here are the knives I purchased at the show. Top pic is 4 Keen Kutters and a Pal Cutlery Co which was modded by a member of another forum. Second pic is a Keen Kutter scout, a Kingston jack (gift from Charlie) and a Washington Jack. Third pic is a Schrade Cut Co, a Simmons whittler made in Germany and a Repeat Needham Bros.

Great photos everyone. I could probably spend hours studying those Sunday dress knife displays.
