Hi jd
I haven't found the big rod in Canada yet but they are called the Big John, if you google it you'll find the source
( they are not paid members here)).
Here is the current bunch (thank you Brother Lyle))) an even dozen, (about to be a bakers dozen).

Sorry for the not great pic, getting packed for my old hometown Pow wow this weekend and rushing as usual.

Best regards

Robin

Thanks all for the comments.

Robin, you have got quite a nice little collection going there. You will be nipping at Lyle's heels in no time! :D

Groovemaster Stag there, fantastic rich colour too. The Stag who shed those antlers is immortal.

Regards, Will

Robin - A very good start on your FJ collection.

Phil - That IXL is top shelf my friend, just awesome stag!

Since Lyle got GEC to do a run of Farmers Jacks i've been on the look out for other examples. Found one of the Queen made knives a few weeks ago.

Thanks Jamie and Paul, blade is not stamped but there is an insert in the box stating it is 420 steel.

Are these Queen Farmer Jacks current production? The stag sounds killer. Can someone please PM as to where I might find these? Thanks!

Not historic at all, but I love 'em because they remind me of Lyle!

These Orchard Gems remind me of my friendship with Charlie.

Robbw - A wonderful display of Farmer Jacks! The Lick Creek and the Orchard Gem, while still at a young age, are historic in pattern. I believe they will be coveted possessions for many years to come.
I had the pleasure to meet and talk with Lyle and Charlie at the Rendezvous. They are two fine gentlemen! Both have vision and passion for pocket cutlery that will most surely be around for collectors to enjoy
for generations to come!:)

John and Robin - The first I have seen of these Queen patterns. Very nice FJ's in their own right!

It was leaf/lawn refuse pickup day on Monday so I did a lot of yard work this weekend. My #38 Farmer's Jack from this run of knives has become my favorite knife for around the yard.

Jamie, not current production, I think they were 5 to 10 years ago.

Thanks for the info guys

I agree with Jake, these make great utility knives. I have one of Charlie's antique bone on my hip now.
