The " Roosters " are crowing for the " Farmers"

Wow - that Lockwood turned out to be real nice Charlie.
Glad you got it- you would have to over snipe that one to have a chance at it!
Well done - and thank you Mr Hilborn
:D

Very nice additions Lyle and Charlie. Really like the S&M Lyle, I'm pretty sure you could visit the factory on the Thursday of the Rendezvous although we will probably be too busy at GEC.

Charlie, I don't sweat it if I over snipe once in awhile, main thing is if I like the knife, thats all that really matters and that Lockwood looks like a nice one with the horn handles and full blades, enjoy!

Back in 2015 when the 38s came out I could not decide if I wanted one. And before you can blink, they were sold out.
I put a wanted notice in my signature, but no answers. Twice I put a notice in the WTB section, and last week, Eureka ! , a response.
I want to thank Phillip and Bladeforums ("The Porch") for adding a Rooster to my collection. I couldn't be happier.

Great knife hamsco, you really have to handle one to appreciate one. I carry one in a horizontal belt sheath 5 days a week, just so darn handy and satisfying to use. May actually be my favorite traditional user carry, bar none.

This one is not going into the safe (well, just a cabinet really). It's going into heavy EDC rotation. I know it will become one of my favorites.

Charlie's making me envious!
And you know I like the Lick Creek.
I really like those Titusville knives Steve. They patterned them from the Schrade catalog E 1934 ? Supplement cut of the S7303, although they came out a little different. There wasn't tooling or anything for that pattern, just a picture from a copy of 2001 Collector Knives.

I'm working on an ivory one.

I was just carrying my 38 last week. Man these are great knives. Some sweet looking collections and additions in the past 4-5 pages too! You guys have some beauties.

A couple of California marked, specifically San Francisco. You don't see a lot of early California marked knives.
Both are pre and early 20th century hardware stores, with Dunham Carrigan and Hayden targeting mining supplies.

The Adolph Blaich Arrow Brand may be German or not ? and the DC&H I'm pretty sure is a NYK.

I've shown the Blaich ,but think this is the first time for the DC&H.

Nice knives, Lyle! Are they both marked San Francisco?

It's easy to see why you collect these FJs, Lyle!
They are quite beautiful in many ways!
