The " Roosters " are crowing for the " Farmers"

Sometimes insomnia pays off, picked up this Scrade Cut Co as a BIN that had just been listed the other night, what makes it very unusual and rare is it has a flat grind rooster comb secondary blade, most did not. Some blade loss and has been cleaned but still a very nice looking knife.

I've been meaning to comment on this WONDERFUL find John, I never time my insomnia right:eek::p Just a fantastic find, one that is at the top of my "want" list:thumbsup: I will trade you several of Duncan's pristine HJ's, just sayin:D

My old stable of users, have since parted with the Orchard Gem and the antique yellow. Devoting more time to my favorites. These are far more useful in the real world than most can imagine. I carry one in a horizontal belt sheath Mon-Fri without fail.

Harry,

Glad you finally managed to track one of these down for your collection. I hope it serves you well!

Lyle,

While I may be an advocate of the pattern, the big advocate is the one who brought this pattern to fruition. Many thanks!

Just a great pattern, remarkably useful and, Lyle's SFOs the best ever done by GEC (or anybody else :D)

Regards, Will

To add to what John said.
I can't remember the man's name and I don't have access to it right now, but he had these made by Queen Cutlery in 2009.

There wasn't tooling or anything for that pattern, just a picture from a copy of "Collector Knives" from 2001.
These came in 6 different handle choices(all natural, two in stag),and one of the stags in ATS-34 blades ,ATS-34 stamped on the shield. All others had T C C fancy inside the shield.
100 of each. 700 total.

The other Titusville stamped pattern is a trapper,I don't know the handles and totals of those.
