The Route #66

Now I have a horn MooreMaker, two medium Case stags, this #66, and an #82 in stag.... I have a "plethora" of stockmen... I've been carrying this 66 for the past few days, and I can see how it could become habit forming.

Man, you've still got a long way to go. ;)

My grandpa was a stockman man. I got three of his knives when he passed - all stockmen with jigged handles. Lots of memories of him pulling out a little black knife to cut fishing line or do some odd job in his wood shop while he taught me carpentry.
Last year, I picked up a 66 (jigged bone of course) to try out the pattern he loved so much.
Had a tough week at work, worst in a decade. To help reset and focus on what is truly important, I finally put the 66 into the rotation. Amazing how a pocket knife can help the mind focus on the value of hard work and legacy.
What an awesome knife and amazing pattern.

I think my keyboard just shorted out, from my drooling on it.... those are amazing. I've been on the fence about getting a Moose... I'm not sure if it would be a bigger pattern than I want... this little moose? That clicking sound you hear is me repeatedly "pulling the trigger" on one.... :D

Love the 66....I have a well loved jack in pumpkin acrylic that I should dust off.

This slim has been getting in the rotation as of late.

I'd kill for a slim in the sawcut red bone. Those things hung around forever when first released and now can't be found!
