Achille and Fausto your posts on the pattadas have blown me away and have opened my eyes to some of the most beautiful knives I've ever seen. Thus, have caused me to read up on anything I can find on them and honestly wish there was more. I've read numerous of each of your posts and saw Faustro where you said you'd be willing to help a member obtain one. You both have ignited my search and I'd love to hear back from both of you and would greatly appreciate your help and expertise.

It's always a great pleasure to see this thread pop up!! Each knife you have shown today is more exquisite then the next. Giuseppe Galante is a master and my favorite today, is the two on the forth picture down. I missed the posts above today but must say the gifts are just amazing and generous. The blue one is just super too. Thanks for sharing these treasures with us. I for one, really appreciate your efforts!!

Hi ,
Thanks a lot Gevonovich for thoses very nices words.

This model is french of course but the knife has been made by Gigi Sechi who of course is sardinian .
He only kept the locking system (virobloc) :

Enjoy ;)

Âchille, You have posted so many beautiful examples of Sardinian cutlery, but that one just blows my mind!!! WOW!

Hi,
Pleased to see that you like this luxury version of the sardinian work.
So you will also like the work og Gianni Abraini who is a great engraver and designer :

I prefer simplicity! That knife is perfect!
Thank you for your dedication to this blog thread! Although I comment little, I enjoy it immensely!

Hi Waynorth, very happy to read your comment, thanks.

So here you will find another "simple" knife, made to be used , with a 9cm SC145 carbon blade and a brown-green micarta handle.
It's a Davide Steri work :
