The Sardinian connection.

Great story Carl. Have I told you need to write a book? :D Also some very lovely knives posted here.

Hello,

After a long long silence , here you will find an almost traditional corrina . The 13cm blade is in K720 carbone steel and the handle is in carbone fiber.
Davide Steri also made de leather sheath

Warm regards :D

For those who are unaware of the pattern..
A corrina is basically a fixed blade version of a pattadesa.
Although it might not be my favourite all around blade shape, this pattern (just like its folding twin) excels in the kitchen and at food prep in general. It's halfway between a paring knife and a short fillet blade, and might very well be the only knife you need in a kitchen, depending on your cooking style. Try it ;)

Beautiful...beautiful knife, Â !! The almost translucent handle and color is stunning. The bolster accents are lovely as well. I do like the blade shape and the harmon really shows it off:D:thumbup::thumbup:

A knife to be very proud of! It exudes an atmosphere: like it was made in the mountains but close to the sea  I admire the worked and angled bolster very much.

Thank you on behalf of my country.
Sardinia has been spared from the earthquake, but other parts of the country haven't been that lucky :(
As for this thread, I might have something to post (and send) quite soon :)
