This has probably been asked before, but what is the sharpest knife you own?- right out of the box I mean.

Out of the BOX...
I won a Kershaw/Ken Onion Riccochet at our local knife shop. It's CPM440V blade was beyond scarry sharp! Both my BM M2 bladed knives were also hair poppers. For a thick edged blade my Commander came very sharp also.
I wont mention any names but I have been very disapointed with the edges of some other factory folders in the $150-250 range!

Big Tex, "scary sharp" is a colorful adjective that alludes to a knife being extremely sharp. So sharp it is scary. So sharp the hair jumps off of your arm in fright, etc., etc.

Sharpest out of the box, probably Microtech Socom. But my Cold Steel Voyager was very close.

Equal marks to CS Voyager tanto, CS MAster Hunter and this year's Christmas present, Marble's Fieldcraft. Of course, I honed them even sharper.

Out of the box?? I'd have to say, CS Kobun, but then all of my knives are sharp out of the box, or I don't use the same micron splitting tests to define sharp that you guys do

Handmade carving knife from Diobsud Froge.Came scapel sharp ready for use. Amazingly with a little work its even sharper now. Its so sharp that awhile back I was cutting a stop along the edge of a board and hit some funny grain. The knife sliced all the way through the board and cut my hand really bad. I almost sliced a big chunk completely off my middle finger. Then I got to walk around holding my arm up with my middle finger wrapped in a huge roll of gauze

It got everyone's attention.

I thinks it's the company, and the steel, CPM440V, I think...

Cold Steel Magnum Tanto, I wiped the fingerprints off the blade by wiping it across my jeans leg, they became cut offs, and any more angle and I'd have been cut.

I have had most of the knives mentioned, and the sharpest out of the box has been my RJ Martin Kozuka, I think.

Followed real closely by a JSP Kwaiken and a Puukko from Kellam. Those zero edges are awesome! All Spydies, Cold Steels, and MicroTechs have been great factory pieces.

Soloman, from what I have heard a Sebenza, but I have cut myself 3 times in 2 weeks with a Butch Vallotton Chameleon that I like to play with.
