Thieves. A despicable lot, those types. Karma will catch up to them. You can count on it.

Have fun at Ethan's Todd and Jerry. I had a blast when E came out here, I know you will too. I will be honest and say I am more looking forward to you time back from E's.......cause, you know....my TW and all, haha.

In other news: I played with an Arkansas stone, a ceramic stone and then my WSKOE. My 24 is better than ever now. First time I've gotten a sharp edge on anything. I should stop playing around with Chinese steel and stick to US. Who knew I had the patience and skill to succeed at such a task after so many previous failed attempts? I didn't.
 
Jealous of everybody going to E's. I need a vacation in the woods :/ pity my wife thinks camping requires an RV lol.

Nothing major. I was in a hurry to get to a meeting this morning, and I left a rain jacket in the gym locker room.
Came back later to retrieve it, and some asshole had claimed it as his own. Nothing in either lost and found, so it wasn't turned in.
It was only a $30 shell from Sam's Club, but I liked it a lot, and the company doesn't make them anymore.
I hope the thieving bastard wears the jacket in a freezing deluge and it leaks like a sieve.

Behavior like that is reprehensible! I hope it catches fire and... actually that might be a bit overboard. I'll go with yours, I hope it leaks and he catches a cold! Still man I'm sorry! One of my favorite jackets I actually got from work. Make that two to be honest. Two of my favorite jackets I got from 2 different jobs. the one was a Lands End winter jacket the other is a fleece jacket. They are just nice jackets!
 
So I hope not crossing any boundaries but I just read the threads about everything that went down with thrillbilly and was wondering what ended up happening with all of that?

My guess is that he succumbed to the perils of meth. But that's just me speculating.
If he's just a common thief, I hope he winds up with my stolen rain jacket and it leaks like a sieve.

Basically, Trill was a contributing member. Took possession of peoples knives for lend, test, review and whatnot. At the same time was going through a nasty divorce and believe he had to serve a little time in the poke. His mistake was not explaining that to the people here and they took his absence as theft which really wasnt the case. A lot of people here (especially the ones that had knives of theres in his possession) got pissed which they had the right, one thing led to another and it got bad real quick, by the time Trill returned, he was already banned and really couldnt make things right if he wanted to. Unfortunate situation for a lot of people, him included. However, people get thrown off of here everyday. Seems like thats one we cant get past. Its over guys.

You owe me no apology. Like I said, bad situation for a lot of folks. Yes, people lost out on trust and knives. Could he of done more to make sure it didnt happen.......of coarse. Was he the only one in the wrong. No.

I did not know a lot of this info. I figured it was a struggle with drugs. That, or other kinds of addictions, are often why people go off the deep end and steal things.

However, I do not agree about him not being able to make things right, unless he also returned all the stuff and I don't know about that as well. He had contact info for a number of folks here (me included) who would have gladly helped him get knives back in the right hands. If he kept a bunch of stuff that was not his to keep, it puts him in an unsavory category in my book.

Bubba, you're confusing Thrillbilly with GreyBush I believe. I only know of 3 Beckerheads that have been banned, and the other two (besides GB) are not married or not divorced...

GB? Cause if its GB, I think he actually got much of the items returned.

Thrill was married, so Todd may be spot on. I am not sure though.
 
My wife's a thief. She stole my reese peanut butter cups.

I hid them from her in the freezer but she found them.

So not cool.
