Todd, I agree with Bladite. I for one appreciate the new information. I still have my opinions, but I long assumed the guy just needed some quick cash and figured out an angle.

I get what you're saying. I'm over it and figured I wasn't getting stuff back long ago. I actually feel worse for the other guys that lost stuff. If it was all sold on him I wish I knew where. I'd try find my little nessy and buy it back from whoever has it.

Just got a benchmade mini bone collector axis folder in the mail today, and I love it

Im sorry guys.....I really am. The weird thing is here is that none of us disagree. The only thing I was trying to point out is theres more than meets the eye here. I wish I could fix it even though like I said I dont have a horse in the race......... now, lets talk about beer or chicks, or sports.........get me of the cross here huh?

might be useful to close out the GB&U and informational threads on this, so that everyone involved with their losses, knows for sure, and can move on; or even claim official business losses where that may apply.
 
Speaking of sports, this week end we are going to a Tulsa drillers game for my sisters birthday, I can't wait it will be my first game of the season, and hopefully later this summer we will be going to a cardinals game
 
So, I have nothing to comment about getting your reeses stolen (Sorry WW, don't keep them in the freezer, keep them in a mini-fridge?) However my plans got washed out tonight (Was supposed to go to the Cubs/Cards game, free box tickets from a buddy who got them from work) so I stopped at the meat market on the way home and got a thick cut sirloin that they cut into strips for me, I'm making beef jerky. Coated it in sriaccha, A1, Lea & Perrins, garlic, salt, and onion powder. Got it all loaded up in to the dehydrator and now... I torture myself with the wait!

So my cat got stuck in a box today. We got a package today and the box was maybe 7"x7"x5'. It was leaning against the chair after it had been emptied and my cats box fetish kicked in. He climbed in and pretty much slid straight to the bottom and of course couldn't turn around or back out of the near vertical box. I let him think about what he did for s minute while he freaked out. I was laffing my butt off. When I dumped him out he looked pretty confused. I hope the gf remembers to break the box down before she goes to bed.

Had a good laugh outta this.
This evening I tried to get my cat to wear sections of paper towel tubes on his various limbs. wasn't really his style.

Local LGS had one so I checked it out just to see what the fuss was about. I kinda get it now but from what I've read the thinner ka-bar actually chops a little better and doesn't seem to have given up anything in durability.

You and me both. I'd rather drive than fly. Spent a lot of time in the cab of my little pickup last year and I'll be doing the same again this year.

In my experience the Camillus is a better chopper.
However, I did snap one in half while chopping...
So yeah. I like the thicker version, but I'm glad Ka-bar is laser etching now.
If Ka-bar made a thicker version, I'd be all over it!

Camillus BK9= nice.
People charging a premium when selling said Camillus BK9= not nice. Not worth it. IMHO of course.
