Had a good laugh outta this.
This evening I tried to get my cat to wear sections of paper towel tubes on his various limbs. wasn't really his style.
Bet they're proud.

I think I'm gonna let it go for another hour...
Jerky dehydrating is a magnificent smell.
Yesterday, a guy at work asked me if I would be interested in buying his shotgun.
It is a Wingmaster that he tacticooled with a folding stock, pistol grip, attachment rail, etc. Comes with all that and 3 barrels for $250.
I think I am going to untacticool it and take it back to stock. Pick it up tomorrow.
Just got through reading this article, thought it was a pretty good read and something to ponder.

A while back I got a nice 870 express with synthetic furniture for $130. I'm mad at myself for not also buying the one they had with the wood stock for the same price.
I like to make the rounds at the guns store just looking for anything that tickles my fancy at a reasonable price. The clerks are always like "what are ya looking for?" Psh, as if I have any clue what I'm looking for.![]()
That's would a been like 2 for the price of one!! I bought a brand new 3" 12 gauge 870 Express with a laminate stock 8ish years ago for $200 brand new. The guy won it and didn't want it and we were both happy with the price. I ended up shooting it some and then selling it for a profit when I was hard up for cash.
I know. At least I got the one for $130. Came with a modified choke so I bought a full choke for it. Only used it to shoot clays but it does a good job at it.
Looks delicious!
What did you season it with?
sriaccha, A1, and Lea & Perrins. Then I added Pirate Bite (https://www.spiceandtea.com/pirates-bite-p-197.html), Garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and some crushed red pepper flakes.
I hid them from her in the freezer but she found them.
...I'm making beef jerky...
I'd snag it for $250 for sure if its in good shape and has all the nice wood to put back on. That's a pretty good price for one. Mine has shot countless flying critters.
Well the one was definitely still a heck of a deal! Its hard to shoot 2 at once anyways. I believe I'm selling my Kahr CW9 to a guy I know. I shoot it well and its a good gun, but it just doesn't fit my shooting style anymore. I believe I'll be replacing it right away with a compact m&p or a glock 19
Unfortunately he doesn't have the old wood, but I don't think it will be too hard to find a replacement.
