The ZT560 (in basic black) is my EDC. Hell of a knife, for a folder . I took my substantial (but not huge) folder collection up to the cabin last weekend for everyone to check out. The HK Scorch dual action, scale release auto was a surprise hit.
I had to stop buying folders, though. They're like peanut m&m's - they take up so little space that before you know it, you have a lot more than you should.
The bearing pivot system on that ZT....just begs to be flipped. Annoyingly so.

I _really_ want a ZT 0560 and / or 0562. I wouldn't mind seeing what all the rage is about M390. I found a 0560 on the exchange for $155 the other day I just don't have the cash for it. If money was no object I would also get one of the new Emerson collaboration. The ZT 0620 would be a great offhand for me I like week side wave openers or fixed blades.

Yup, I have the Stag Arms Manix 2 still. Of course, I prefer my HTM Gunhammers (when you can get a good one), and carry one of those around on a regular basis. But Spydies sure can cut.

Well Gentlemen,

I followed through on my afternoon plans at my in-laws. My drink for the night with a little bit of knife content.

My lounger for the afternoon

In order to keep the kids busy I carved them some wooden swords.

After which I decided to take a some photo's of my EDC knives

A view down the hammock (prepare to be blinded by white)

My side table with a bit of the view of the greenbelt.

Dinner on the BBQ. Steaks, Potatoes, carrots in butter, and broccoli with cheese.

The finished product.

I then had a few more 50/50 over proof rum and cokes and had a little nap in the hammock. I woke up in time for fireworks and found the temperature has dropped significantly lol!

Yeah, I really like the Hinderer designs. The ZT's have the KVT which make em uber smooth. I flicked one at a knife show and fell in love. At the time I didn't have the $200 to buy it but knew I'd have to get one eventually. After getting one I'd remove the Spartan from my EDC and kick the 0350 to a back pocket weak side carry. If anything I can sell a Cold Steel up here for a crazy price then convince one of the fine forum members here to ship a 560 up to me. I just need to get the funds by selling off a few in my collection (or begging the wife to let me order something for my birthday )

I really want a 0561.... But if i got 200 for a ZT Id likely go with the ZT 0180... Oh my how i want that one.

I also really want a Parangatang.

Id have to sell something to get either right now.

Ill most likely just wait and grab the parangatang on a month i budget it in. The 0561 costing around 200 though has less of a chance.... Its real hard for me to spend 200 on a folder. Id want the 0180 much more. The Vanadis 4 is a huge selling point for me on that knife. You dont see many knives made of it, and the design looks pretty sweet too.

Then get some kind of custom rig to attach that to a BK9. Then slide a 0562 into my right side pocket and a 0620 in my back left. If I only had about $1400 to spend on some shiny pointy things.....

It's official. My Hypocrisy knows no bounds.

After the last two years of being very vocal about not liking folders. I have found two I actually like and will be getting as soon as possible. One is the ZT0562CF and the other is the Spyderco Tenacious (although I'm really liking the Sage 2 as well). I can't help it. I spent the last two days flipping a KA-BAR Warthog Folder and something happened. I started looking for folders again. Geez I feel like I'm Batting for the Yankees, but I no longer care. I love knives!!

Nope

I use a set of dowel's covered in sand paper / metal finishing paper and get some nice polished edges up to 3500 grit. Then I strop on clay paper. After I do my routine they are able push cut newsprint.

First recurve I owned was my UZZI Defender. I purchased it about 8 or 9 years ago for work I have had lots of time practicing with it hehe.
