Cleaning the sack in the sink and the bag in the washer. On delicate. I know how soft you Marines can get sometimes. :D

If you haven't seen this guy before, he has a ton of videos on dozens of different hunting knives, mostly Bark River, and a bunch more on sharpening and stropping. He just threw this one up and says toward the end that the BK17 is sharpest hunting knife he owns after he's finished with it.

EUReKA, Season 1, Episode 7 ''Blink''

Starting at around 19 minutes in, and for at least 30-45 seconds a KaBar Gen1 BK2 is shown. Deputy Jo has it strapped to her vest, gives it to the Sheriff to pry apart a pine tree to get to a human ear. Pretty cool, There's a part where he first grabs it, you can see the actor kinda do a quick double-take and glance down at the knife like ''HOLY SHEET, what did I just grab hold of???''

She had 3 knives on her vest, a BK2, a tac folder (I have seen them on here but cant place the name) and what looks like maybe a Falkniven.
 
yep. I posted a whole thread on that when I saw it (also belatedly). Jo is so many levels of awesome, but I wish they'd give her a handgun that actually made sense for her size.

When you are hungry the food network is as good as porn............Man I need to go find something for lunch.

On a side note I finished up some scales for my 11 this weekend. I am letting the danish oil I used on them dry up then hopefully I can snap a few good pictures. I also made some micarta that is drying/hardening back in my "workshop" at my parents house. I am really hoping it comes out good.

That looks like an CRKT M14 tacticool folder. The M16 folder has 2 flipper studs on either side of the blade.
 
only the recon version of the m16 knife has 2 studs - that regular one just has the flipper.
m21 is the same way, only it has the recurve blade off the m18.
 
I have the M16-M14ZSF or whatever those numbers are... It has the two studs. However my M14 titanium only has the one.
 
Im surprised Jo wasnt beeching about the sh*tty sheath......

honestly i think I prefer the gen1 sheath to the current BK2 sheath.

Planning an epic giveaway for my 1500...not sure what yet but i know it will include a 65L new hiking pack, a two man tent, some cooking stuff, a stove, probably a hammock, and of course a becker of some sort...its been awhile since I have been truely active up in here, so i feel I need to make a splash...there will be more added to the pack im sure...all will be brand new....


And yes, it will probably be a "last post" contest.....yall remember the last one eh?
