Your Welcome John, now those are some good pictures of your yellow Buck Barlow and anvil...

Thanks you JB, for making the SPS work just about every Sunday... :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Great start of the Greatest Show on Earth. I love the all the white and yellow Buck and the 124, especially the white 124. Thank you, Armand, for your ongoing initiatve.

My small part of the show is a Frontiersman I found a few weeks ago in Italy. I hope Joe knows more about its history .

I do not know for sure, but would guess the W/S just means "with sheath" , or "with spacers"???? probably with sheath...Either way, Congrats on finding The Coolest MOP Buck I have seen.....Until I see a 184 in MOP:D:D:thumbup::thumbup::D

Nasty outside today....But yesterday was sunny!!! So I took my new 188/M9 to the trout club....It was still cold, cold, cold, but I got a few pictures. Remer/Stone Custom Stag 188/M9 Partial Chip flint blade:thumbup::thumbup::D next to a Brown and a Brook trout!!

GREAT SPS TODAY AND ALWAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Armand!! I ALWAYS look forward to the SPS!!
And, oh my….that is a nice Frontiersman!! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Herbert…what a great find!! That one really adds to your collection!! :):thumbup::)

John…I just picked up a small anvil and a Buck Barlow that I'll post in a little while.
I really like your anvil and may have to look into getting mine finished like that. Mine has old blue paint on it, but it's a start.
That yellow Barlow is sweet too! :thumbup::):thumbup:

I'm going to start off today posting pictures of my favorite re-handle I've done.
It was actually a mistake. The exterior ram's horn was being fitted to a Buck 110, but I ground a wrong angle when I flipped one of the ram's horn pieces over. I still had enough to fit it on a 112.
I really like the ram's horn next to the brass bolsters and brass pins…then the mirror finish blade just makes it pop!!

Edit;
Here's a photo that shows the mirror finish blade better;

Here's another re-handle I did in smooth buffalo horn.
I had a couple end pieces left over and sanded them into rear view mirror crosses and added 62 beads to each one. (I'm 62years old…right Mr. Armand) :)

I went to opening day of the Gator Knife Show in Lakeland, FL two days ago and really enjoyed it.

Here are some of the booths at the show;

Here is some mammoth ivory I picked up there.
I'm really excited about putting the ivory on this Alaskan Guide 110.
I think the white mammoth ivory is going to look great with the dark blade.

Here is a little Muskrat I picked up sitting on a small anvil I also got there.

Here is a large Barlow I got there.

Here is what seems to be a garage knife I picked up while rummaging through a box of knives.

I have one more knife from the show that I'll post next. :)

The last post from me today….now I'll sit back and enjoy the show…after my bike ride. :)

This is a 1961 Buck 105 barrel nut that I picked up at the knife show for a friend who collects them.
I would say it's in very good condition. There's hardly a scratch on the blade.

While a lot of beautiful knives in there I must say the Barlows and Stumps 105 make me drool. I must say I never knew Buck made a Barlow. I only own 2 Barlows by other companies but have always liked the pattern.

My old 301. My first Buck. I inherited it back in early 80's.I know every one has seen it before and nothing fancy about it. But its the Buck that started ,y love of knives.
