The Sunday Picture Show... (2-1-2015)

Another great Sunday thanks to ITE. Keeping with the 124 group i have 2 to share. an older 122/124 2 line and a pre '86

The lower knife has I believe S Steel trim but is non magnetic from what little I know that would be a 300 series then not a 400 as the blades were.

400 series stainless steels (hardenable) exhibit strong ferromagnetism. 300 series stainless steels (with Nickel added) exhibit weak to zero ferromagnetism (attraction to a magnet). To test for weak F/M, tie a magnet to a string and swing it slowly past the part to be tested. A slight attraction will interrupt the swing.

A lot of nice 124's below is a photo of the nicest Buck Custom Shop 124 I ever owned (wish I still had it....)

A lot of redheads here today. Here is a slimmed down 110 redhead from 1973 that was made in Buck's factory during a worker's free time.
It was a one owner until I bought it a few years ago from Buck's former shop foreman's B.I.L who made it. (did I say that right?) :p

Buck Whittaker 759 on the ready line should thirst need attention with pre-game cinnamon rolls fresh out of the oven.

Must be week of the 124's. Nice looking ones. Man I also like the Nighthawk collection. I must say they look so much better without the hole in the blades.

Great pictures everybody. Here is my humble contribution to the SPS. My pair of 303's. The poly pearl was a gift from my late Mother.

What a fantastic SPS that is going today!

The 124 is having a great showing today, so I'll add a photo of my all time favorite 124 issue. Stag & Gold Etch what's not to like.

Now my #2 is Scottk's Mastadon ring 124, followed by #3 Herberts new MOP 124:thumbup:.

May be a rebladed '99 frame? ... Haebbie

Very nice. I've got the same one that I found maybe 3-4 years ago. I've just got to find it so I can get the product code/label off the end of the box. I seem to recall it being a BO so I guess a build out rather than an overrun.

Good thoughts but I'll throw one more picture at you. I do not believe it to be a reblade or build out.
