Great start of the Greatest Show on Earth. I love the all the white and yellow Buck and the 124, especially the white 124. Thank you, Armand, for your ongoing initiatve.

My small part of the show is a Frontiersman I found a few weeks ago in Italy. I hope Joe knows more about its history .

I kid you not Earl. Those photos are beautiful! Great looking blades all but the way you photographed them is superb. Just wanted to compliment you on your artistic ability in addition to your wonderful collection.

Well we can put the rumor to rest now. Yup, it was only a rumor. Who said the Evil Eye Earl was taken by a mean Texas rattler anyway? Outstanding cutlery. A D-guard 124, oh my! :thumbup:

This has probably already been answered but does anyone know why Stumps is re-handling every Buck knife in the world? Just curious is all. :confused:

Ummmm..... because Stumps likes stag handles of course..... and not all knives come with stag..... so by rehandling all the knives of the world, they can then all have stag handles :D

Please let me know if you find the answer because I'm pretty sure I know either. :)

I guess I just enjoy seeing what I can do since I've never done anything like that before.
I was in construction my whole life, so I'm learning something new even at my age and having fun with it.

I use about half of the ones I've re-handled. Kept all the 50th Anniversary 110's for a future display, given one slip joint away to a friend and sold a Buck 110 to a hiking buddy that saw one he really liked.
I tried giving him that knife, but he insisted on paying for it, so I charged him exactly what the 2013 Buck 110 and smooth buffalo covers cost me.

I may sell a couple in the future that I decide not to keep for myself, but that will probably be a rare event.

This week's SPS has set a new standard. It was by far the best I ever remember!!
Thanks everyone!! :thumbup::thumbup:

Alarming, cool admirable artisan stuff, but alarming. So I've hidden my factory production folders so that some Buck knives will survive un-stumped! Yes, I've taken steps. :) Keep up the good work you shining star you shine on. May you live a thousand years.

Ha!! You might say the knives I've re-handled are un-warranted. :)

All the factory covers have been removed and the rocker pins haves been cut and peened. Time for a nap. :p

Mark,

Can't wait to see the finished knives! Please do a step by step on a few, to show how you fit, glue, & finish them.

Thanks
