The Sunday Picture Show... (2-1-2015)

Here are some older ones.

Repeat photo for flashback Sunday. My wife accompanied me to a knife show several years ago and her payback was to do some antiquing on the way home. Best buy of the day was found in the antique mall, not the knife show. It was crammed into a custom 120 sheath. Asked for and received a discount because the sheath did not fit.

Great start of the Greatest Show on Earth. I love the all the white and yellow Buck and the 124, especially the white 124. Thank you, Armand, for your ongoing initiatve.

My small part of the show is a Frontiersman I found a few weeks ago in Italy. I hope Joe knows more about its history .

Wow Haebbie, what a Beautiful 124... what's does the other side look like...

Your so lucky to find that one...

Thanks for sharing it with all of us here on the SPS... It's just Beautiful...:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Put my name first if you ever sell it...:eek::eek:

:)

Since I added another 655 Night Hawk to my collection yesterday and quite a few entries in today's SPS are fixed blades I thought I'd offer some shots of my more tactical Bucks. Not sure the 619 is as "tactical" as the others but I guess it's close enough. Having only been collecting the Night Hawk series for just a couple of years I have to say I really have grown fond of them. Not a huge number of variations to collect but they are a heck of a value for a solid fixed blade if you're just in the market for a user. The Pigstickers are probably the exception since they are some what more specialized in design and fewer in number. Anyway I like'em all and hope you do too.

It looks as good as the shown side ((I am too lazy to take another picture))

Tell me please, Armand: your redhead, are guard and pommel made of stainless steel or aluminum?

I'm not really sure Haebbie... I didn't know that they used Stainless steel...
I just always thought it was aluminum...

What is yours... :)

Badhammer, nice collection you got there... and very cool pictures...

Thanks for sharing on the SPS...:thumbup::thumbup:

You can post folder or fixed blades... We just like pictures.... :)

The Philippine MOP 124 has aluminium guard and pommel.
But one of my redhead 124 has steel, the other aluminum.
I would like to figure out if the stanless steel 124 has the
original inserts. I assumed your knife is an original.

Thanks,
Haebbie

Your old one has steel guard and pommel but the redhead? - by the way, nice Nemo you have,

Haebbie

The one on the right hand side has steel.

A nickel silver 110 with really nice matching Macassar Ebony Dymondwood scales.
These must have been a special order for someone. I can't find this model listed.
For a standard knife, it's a real beauty.

Haebbie, it's aluminum... I took a magnet to it and it doesn't stick so its aluminum...

:)

A 704 Maverick all dressed up by David Yellowhorse. I have not fully researched this one yet but guess it is early to middle 90's. I believe the Coyote came after the Stallion and Bison.

Might of already posted this in an old SPS, but like ITE said there are new guys all the time. My favorite all time Buck model the 317 in ram horn done the god of knife customizing Leroy.
Love those old 124 and the stag and mop are over the top. A yellow buck barlow I want:)

Very nice. I've got the same one that I found maybe 3-4 years ago. I've just got to find it so I can get the product code/label off the end of the box. I seem to recall it being a BO so I guess a build out rather than an overrun.
