The Survive! Never Say Die! Chat Thread

I tried finding the Four Seven that you have but it looks like they're discontinued now. I like the actual size and function of it though so I'm hoping they'll have a similar model to check out.

I saw that as well. Not sure what is up, maybe new models coming. Going Gear might have some, he's a member here.

I checked out his page but it looks like he's all sold out also. I need to get off my butt and look on their website to find something close in size and output.

Edit: Sorry, I had a whole respone typed out, thought I had found one, but they are zeroed out too. :foot:

Nope, you didn't bud. I tried to edit before you caught it. I decided I'd better get a spare, but they're gone. Sorry. I'm not finding any anywhere, except for the 'Click' model that I'm not familiar with.

Oh well I guess! I did see one on eBay but I'm a little hesitant to buy a flashlight off of there because of all the fakes going around. I'll check out the site because I'm really hoping they have something like it and maybe they'll have something shiny or bright colored.

Nice collection! What Four Sevens model is that and is your Eagletac a AA or a CR123? It looks slimmer than the one I have.

The four sevens is a Mini ML-X both are CR123, the Eagletac is the D25C Clicky and is crazy bright. I had been following the flashlight discussion, but was too lazy to chime in, figured the 5.0 coming in was good timing. The other two are great little AAA lights, but i am becoming a big fan of the cr123 battery types.

Oh ok cool! I have the exact same Eagletac as that but it always looks chubby to me. That Four Sevens is something I really need to look into now.

I'm liking the cr123 types too, but I sure can't fault those ^ redwood. Although I am unfamiliar with the Peak. Do you like the Eagletac better than the Mini ML-X or the single cell foursevens with the tail switch?

Also, do you have any experience with the foursevens Click? It looks like it is taking the place of the Quarks.

The eagletac gives you more bang for your buck, something like 7 light settings, and a bunch of strobes and has the best pocket clip i have ever seen. That said, there is something just simple and well made about the four sevens. If i was advising someone on getting one though, i'd suggest the eagletac. It seems knives and flashlights tend to attract a similar crowd!

If you google "peak led solutions eiger" its what i posted in the picture, it sorta has a dimmer switch type action.

Geez you guys are killing me with the flashlights! I just looked up the Peak LED and now I want one also!

So this thread needs a bump...

Its been a crazy week for me. I found out that I landed a new assignment at work. Its a pretty competitive spot. All I can say is hard work and discipline pays off. I have been training for it for almost two years. As if that wasnt enough, my third child was born on saturday!

Thanks! Its a girl. My other two are a 6 year old girl and a 4 year old boy. Man I have forgotten how small newborns are and didnt realize just how big my older kids have gotten.
