The Survive! Never Say Die! Chat Thread

Very nice! I'm looking forward to seeing how the project develops
If you find yourself in a typing mood I'd be interested in a run down of everything in the collection that might not be immediately recognizable.

Do you think of this storage method as an easy way to see and grab what you need as well as long term storage?

holy smokes! nice collection!!

Your turn. ;-)

I mentioned in an earlier post that I was looking for a 4.1. I got a few private messages from the posts I made here and on the FB group page. I ended up buying a cool one in ghost jade from Mike (not sure if he posts here). It is an awesome blade and I could not be happier. I usually do not buy multiples of the same knives (unless they are Fiddleback Bear Paws!), but I think I might just have to buy one of the new model 4.1s. The one I own is totally awesome and I am excited to see how Guy will improve on an already great design.

The S!K "fan club" here and on FB are a great bunch of guys. Even if I had not scored such a cool blade, I would still really appreciate the cool demeanor of folks here. This is a really great community, which is not a surprise considering how cool the management and products of S!K are!

Cheers!

Dang all these family photos are making me sad to be so far from my knives. I'll have to snap a family shot when I get off the road.

Good looking 4.1 NC

Well I picked up a pup today! Everyone meet Kimber. Redwood22 and I were talking about handguns and a while back and the name jumped out. Thank you Redwood for bringing up the name!
She's a Red Queensland Heeler born on October 11.

What a great looking pup, and I love the name! Never thought of it for a dogs name, but it works perfectly! I showed a picture of Kimber to my wife and she let out a loving squeal and declared "she's sooo cute I love her" I think that sums it up nicely!! I know you will provide her a great home, that is one lucky pup!
