The Survive! Never Say Die! Chat Thread

Also... I am really stoked to see all the new people popping in to ask questions, say hi, and talk about the excitement of the soon to be released 5.1!

By the way.. 26 feels like 50 so far lol

26? That's adorable. Just wait until you're in your 30's, your relationship with alcohol will really change. :D

I shouldn't talk, I've always been a lightweight in that department. Sipping gets me to an altered state fast enough these days.

Yeah! I was thinking the same thing. I hope some stick around, especially when their mail arrives so they can post some pics and user thoughts.

Top O the Morning to everyone

26!!! You are an old geezer MOS!

If I drank even 3 beers now, Ide have a hangover that felt like someone stomped on my head all night!

I know man. Getting ready for social security to kick in any day now.

And I'm an Ironworker. There have been times I'm drinking beer instead of water at work. It's what we do lol

I'm 36. It ain't that bad. As Silver said, you relationship with alcohol will definitely change. In college I used to drink a 12 pack of beast ice as I walked to a keg party, that way I was good and toasty before I even got there. My other choice was to carry a bottle of Captain and drink straight from the bottle like a damned pirate. When the bottle was gone it was time to go back to the house we rented and play beer pong until the sun came up. Then sleep it off for a few hours, wake up and swear I'd never drink again. Then the sun would go down and it would start all over!

These days 2 or 3 Captain and cokes and I am ready for bed...

Weaksauce

I get called old man a lot at work because of this, after hitting 30 life slows down a bit. I tried to explain to the younger guys that the difference between 25-30 is simply more noticeable than between 21-25... Your body fights back a lot more. 26 is a great yr MOS enjoy it!!(once the hangover wears off).

Standard, that is one awesome pup! Really happy for you, brother. I am sure that you will give her a great home and be an awesome doggie parent. Keep the puppy pics coming.

As far as being old and "slowing down" in your 30's... F*#% THAT! Although I don't drink like I used to, I think that slowing down due to age is most often a choice and not something that absolutely has to happen. I am 48, and I am still doing many physical activities at nearly the same levels as I did in my 30s. I am not saying that it is easy, and I have to remain vigilant and focused to make it happen. However, there is a lot of truth to the adage that "you are only as old as you think you are."

I know a man that's 68 or so and he still keeps up with the young guys damn near. On his vacation he re carpeted his whole house. I asked him why he didn't go relax. He said the day he relaxed would be the day he dies. If he stops moving he'll just quit all together.

I hope I got that much spunk when I hit that age.

My dad never ceases to amaze me. He's 78 and still going strong. Every time my truck leaves the house to go huntin' he's in it :)

I just saw the new Starwars today. Anyone else seen it yet? Thoughts? No spoilers :)

I really liked it and thought it was well done throughout. It had a lot to live up to!

The more I look at a 5, the more I wish I bought one.

Im trying to get my 4 year old to watch all 6, then Im going to take him to see the new one.
I had 2 5.0s, then sold one, bought a second 4.7, and just got another 5.0 this week. It has red linen liners like the one you posted. I need a 5.1 and a 7/7, I think.
